The best “Executive Producer” Tyra can do for this show is fire herself. The distractions and conceited effort to make everything about her, regardless of the situation, is horrendous. Her hiring was an abysmal failure by ABC.

Her presence in the show brings in ratings so I don’t see her leaving anytime soon. She revealed that once she left AGT to DWTS, AGT lost a lot of viewers and coincidentally enough DWTS finally beat AGT in regards to ratings for once when she moved over.
@@justadrian56 Doesn't discount the fact that Tom is a far better host. They could have at least co-hosted or something. Tom Bergeron brought a lot of wit to the show, while being kind and polite to the contestants, and his comedic timing was great!
Lmao, Tyra is not my favorite person, nor do I think she's a great host, but why are people so pressed that she danced in a line too. They're just having fun! 😂
She does the same thing every week, haha. She does this entire runway walk where it’s just her. I’m not sure if it started last season or the season before when she came on the show, but it has gotten annoying….in THIS particular case I think it actually totally works though! But in past seasons there were times when judges couldn’t talk because of time restraints, and at least 45 seconds to a minute was always dedicated to Tyra’s runway walk. It’s usually the faces that she does that kill me😂
My mom and I (she either comes to me or I go to my parents’ house to watch every week) initially were driven crazy by how annoyed we got by Tyra (she tends to say the cringiest things at the worst moments), but then we decided we had to make it funny and just laugh at the absurdity so we could enjoy the show🙃🧘🏻♀️🤭. I don’t dislike Trya as a person and thought she did well hosting on AGT (and of course on ANTM and she had a talk show for awhile!)-so I’m not sure what it is about this show that gets her in a tizzy🥲 She’lol randomly interrupt and then like awkwardly bump n grind with an unwilling contestant etc🤣 Omg now that I think about it, it IS hilarious and I have no idea why she was able to just do her job as a host on other shows, but seems to go off script all the time on DWTS hahaha. She also paid $30mill to become a producer the year she replaced the old hosts, so they literally couldn’t fire her apparently. She was told this season that she’d have a co-host, to which she (apparently) initially refused to…..anddddd then they gave her an ultimatum and said it’s you and Alfonso or just Alfonso…awkz. Omg people this is what random adhd hyper-focus and oversharing looks like😬😳🙃!!!! I randomly woke up (1:50am) and came to my kitchen to eat and saw this thread and have randomly written an essay on one of the most simple of comments HAHA WOW apologies hahahahah ahhh my brain

And now you can see how the Judges put their favorites in the line up for 1st to 4th. A couple dancers did not deserve 8 or even 9 but one couple did great and got all 8’s. should have gotten 9’s or even a 10. The judges have the power to where they want the dancers to place. Just watch the next week and you will figure it out to
But I was thrown with the elimination this week-not sure if it’s ever happened like it did at this point I’m the competition. Where neither have been in the bottom two, and one is high up on the leaderboard while the other was solidly in the middle. I was super sad to see him go home (using caution in case of spoiler?) Thought he brought much more of an entertainment factor to the show that the alternative, but I guess they do have to be really technical when deciding between only two people, and it would be kind of obvious had mah boy stayed.
But that NEVER happens where 2 people who haven’t scored in at least the bottom 3-4 randomly get called to the chopping board, right!?!

GLEB AND SHANGELA
Oh my gah I’m now obsessed with gleb-NEVER thought those words would come out of my mouth (or typed by my fingers hahaha). The two of them are SO DANG FUN to watch during rehearsals and obviously on the D floor-and I totally think having Shangela as a partner has made Gleb do his best choreography this season! I guess because he has a clear idea of what the dance will look like?! It’s been so great to see. I starting being not such a big fan of Gleb but this as shown him in an entirely new light, and Shangela brings out a super fun and giggly/purely KIND side out of him-with zero of the flirtation that we’d seen with most of his past partners. I love seeing their rehearsal package where their having fun and being friends, then on the dance floor it’s like HOLY HOTNESS and chemistry!!! Both of them have been BRINGING it and FIIIINALLY got 9s!!

the Disney+ technicians HAVE TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER!!--for both nights this week I couldn’t view the show live because the Disney+ technicians were not sending a strong enough signal to Comcast so the picture was always freezing when I tried to view it live!!-then they were updating their Server and finally I was able to view a Recorded Version of the Shows but NOTHING LIVE!,--So technicians GET IT TOGETHER!!!
I've had issues with Disney plus a couple of times too, usually when trying to stream a 4K movie. You can usually solve it by rebooting your streaming device; turn it off and then back on to reset it or unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.

Ditto. That’s why google and TH-cam are good friends. Some channels post the dances a few hours or days after premiering. I also just google who the the boot about 10 pm that episode night.

DWTS used to post all the dances on TH-cam themselves after the show. It was great because you didn't have to sit through the back stories or the judges comments but just see the dances themselves. But now that it's on Disney+ they don't do that anymore. They want to force you to subscribe to the network to see anything at all.

Translation, so far, only Trevor has shaken things up after episode 1's establishment. Joseph did get some brownie points Bond night because he had the look, but not a staple performance of the night.
Initially placed Brady below Shangy because it was further away from giving what I wanted personally, but since he has overtaken not bc of anything he did but mainly bc Shangy doesn't know who She is, and by She I definitely mean her wigs. Each one has a personality and life of its own and we really need to start there serve on that ground and inject personality around.
FYI, its early enough. What my personal strategy would be, would be to compete mainly with the person directly above you. #SnatchGame and play their hand better than they do (i.e. idea: Vinny let's see a tik tok trend, maybe a slight dance cut reference, but make it your own by claiming the song has personal significance to a relative etc.)
(I.e. shangy could literally try something resembling sherades in the predance video segment to snatch Wayne's game, the theme of which somehow is a small feature in the next weeks dance, etc.)
Idk get creative yall have fun
And don't be afraid to ge petty designing the presentation (read: not petty to the judges, bc in front of them taking those critiques you are grace and opening your heart up etc. But in the design, obfuscate it but yes be petty as hell lol This is a competition).

Side bar: Joseph, do NOT do drag. But you may be learning a shablam or speaking about how once you deserved to win something so badly but your peers voted for someone that made everyone's jaw drop to say "Really? 😒"

Wow, After getting the show canceled from ABC and moved to Disney + Tyra still making the Show all about her self wit the long dumb runway walk’s & Ridiculous outfits
To be fair it wasn't actually canceled by ABC. Disney owns ABC so they just made the decision to put it on their streaming Channel to increase subscriptions.
@@PlumbPitiful annnd while I hate that it’s not available to a ton of people who used to watch it, the Disney+ move clearly gave them a MUCH higher budget, because everything from costumes, hair and makeup, the lighting, filming, and SET DESIGN that’s switched out for every single dance (starting so early in the competition!) had been crazy and definitely improved the viewing experience.
Still really sucks for the people who can’t watch
