The diversity of the "Tram 2000" | Tram Zurich | 2020

Between 1976 and 1992, a total of 171 trams of the "Tram 2000" generation were delivered to Zurich. There are quite a lot of different variations of this type:
113 six-axle articulated cars, of which 15 are trailers.
35 four-axle trailers, called "Pony".
23 eight-axle, low-floor articulated cars, called "Sedan".
The trams can be found on almost all lines in different combinations. In the next few years, almost all of them will be replaced by a new generation of "Flexity" low-floor trams.
In this video, we'll take a journey on the "Tram 2000" through the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland.
