@@gplama Well, I solved many issues using your videos, issues that were not explained as clearly by the manufacturer. This was with both Shimano Di2 and the Garmin Vector3. It's interesting how manufacturers are so poor in providing simple and useful guides on TH-cam. Actually a good TH-cam guide would save them tons of requests from the customers. At least they should reward TH-camrs like you but then again, you would be biased in your reviews if you get free stuff... Interesting and actual subject I guess.
@@doraymon4797 Free stuff doesn't mean bias. A lot of the time I don't need (or want) what companies offer. And if I do think something is interesting enough to use/ride/train with... then the time it takes to put the content together far outweighs the cost of the item. Most of the time by a LONG shot. What people need to look for is motive, not bias. If someone is pimping something they're clearly not interested in, never used, or never will use, then that's when questions can be asked about how genuine the story is. Nice video Shane but annoyingly the 6870 Ultegra Di2 shifters dont have the hood top buttons, only on the newer R8000 series and dura ace. Also is the any way to get the Di2 battery level to display as one of the data fields instead of having to go to set up menu?
There's no battery data field yet on the Wahoo units. I've been asking (and asking, and asking) for it to be considered. It is viewed in the device/sensor menu.

Thanks Shano your instructions were spot on. Question: Other than using my quarq android ap, are you aware if you can utilise d-fly to pick up a power meter battery level so it will appear in a data field on Garmin 820l? quarq d zero pm.
On my Garmin 520, the head unit beeps to indicate that a chainring shift is next so I can be prepared for it and also beeps when you reach either end of the cassette to alert you that you are out of shifts going in that direction, super handy. Does the Wahoo Di2 implementation do something similar to notify the users without having to look at the screen?
Thanks for creating very informative videos. On the other hand do you know where and what brand of Wahoo Roam mount can I use for my Canyon Endurace H31 aero handle bars???
It certainly seems like the Garmin had more functionality (such as the double click option), is that something Wahoo could change/improve with a firmware update, or does it go deeper than that?
Shane. Switching from garmin 1030 to roam.. Can i still do long press with di2 button to go right to show elevation screen like i can with garmin 1030?

The di2 is connected and I can cycle through the screens with dfly, just like the video indicates, just no gear history from my rides.
Hey thanks Shane! Yeah, seems like the button clicks are sent with a four bit event counter and the bike computer software is not handling the 15 to 0 rollover correctly. Filed a ticket, thanks for checking.
