One week back I started using retinol three times a week even though its my first time using it and I ruined my skin barrier. Inflammation, redness, hot and burning sensation, small pimples, hives kinda formation. I already had sensitive skin. What I thought was it's in a cream form so it was okay to use a coin size retinol cream and I didn't use any sandwich method nor I used any moisturizer on top of retinol cream. Now I wish you should have uploaded this a week back lol 😅 so guys I'm saying cuz I don't want y'all to commit the mistakes I did. I'm working on my skin barrier now so for ten days I'll be only using a gentle cleanser and a good moisturizer and a sunscreen if I'm going outdoors.
Now I am 37 years old, i have fine line on my Forehead & nose area. I already used dot & key retinol night cream. Now should I use which anti aging cream please suggest me. My skin is dry

Hi Chetali, like your content and your recommendations. Different and new recommendations always. I am a long time follower of your channel. A couple of pointers here - 1) like you mentioned for Olay about the non disclosure of retinol percentage on the pack, I did not find retinol percentages for most of the creams you have shown in this video (first 2 creams showcase retinol percentages rest I haven’t found on any) neither have you disclosed in your video. Would be a great help if you can share this info. 2) the transition which you have added in your videos of zoom in and zoom out (on your face), suddenly your camera zooms in at your face on specific words and then zooms out - really a challenge to watch videos like this. This is not at all eye friendly and creates some stress to the eyes while watching your videos. Would highly suggest not to use such transitions as the focus shifts from your content and a pain to the eyes as well.

Please do a patch test before applying any of these products as each one of has different skin type which react differently. Also please do not just rely on such recommendations unless he or she is dermatologist. She is recommending the product which goes by her skin type. There is a percentage of retinol which need to take care in mind while applying on your face. No hate to this lady !! But please please try a patch test. Watch Dr shereene videos she is certified dermatologist.
Just curious, to recommend a product I am sure it takes you to use the product for a good period of time. Here you're recommending multiple products, how come this is even possible for someone to try multiple products at the same time and recommend them! How do you know or decide on which one is actually helps.

The thing about retinol encapsulation, it makes the retinol stable. Encapsulation ensures gradual penetration of the retinol in the skin over 2 to 3 days. That means some retinol is still there on your face even after two days, so apply sunscreen. Encapsulated retinol doesn't get instantly activated on your palm or your face all at once. And if you can buy retinol in a glass tub packaging then you can buy it in a tube packaging, I would guess.
