I wasn’t aware either until some other people pointed it out, but something did seem off about the absent space on his chest.. then I had to go back and see the final swing scene myself. Good opportunity for someone with a 3D printer 😉 😂
I got mine a week ago at my local sears here in Mexico, and this is the video I’ve been looking for ever since. Fantastic job 👏🏾👏🏾 i wish i had the skill to do that myself
Just found your channel and I'm delighted - I'm learning so much, thank you! Can I ask what tool you're using to trim the plastic please? In fact, I don't suppose you've done a video detailing your typical modding toolkit by chance? An idea if not, perhaps? Keep up the amazing work, mate.
Thank you so much! The tool I use is called a rotary tool, mines just a cheap one I got from amazon since it doesn't have to cut anything particularly hard. I don't have a video on good a toolkit but that's something I should do
I have a few questions.... Did you sand any, or, does the paint rub? I feel like mine always rub and distort a bit at the joints. I probably don't give it long enough to dry though. How does the new paint job hold up to heat when putting back together? Or, how do you re-assemble after painting?
I sanded anywhere that was blue just to help with paint adhesion. You should really aim for 24 hours before reassembling but I usually leave it around 6. If the paint isn't properly dry the heat will soften it quite a bit, but I didn't have any issue with this one in particular
Is there any way to assemble the figure without scratching the new paint? I tried with a hair dryer but the paint melts, when I try to pose the figure, it scrapes off the paint and falls off.
Great job on the figure but I have one question. Could you check out the Medicos Diego Brando figure? It has very limited neck and leg movement and I dont know how I would go about fixing it.
@@CraftyGecko nice nice ! Have you considered making upgrades for the symbiote suit like the symbiote coming over the suit/ mask or tendrils ? I think that would be cool
@@CraftyGecko the ps5 game one, I think the way you attached the iron arms onto the Spider-Man could be used to make some tendrils, or you could also make the symbiote coming over the head like the hot toys special edition that would be cool !
You did a nice work fixing all the problems! Though, i have a question. Would you mind explaining how to mod the neck peg and also the leg peg in more detail? I couldn't understand how to do jt in the video.
th-cam.com/video/pg9W4HbtJas/w-d-xo.html this video has more detail. The neck I dont modify. I modified the neck socket by removing material with a blade
Is there a way I can heat the water up without the kettle and if so is there a good way to tell if the water is hot enough without damaging paint cause I wanna do this to mine but I’ve never done an articulation mod on a figure so I’m worried I’ll mess up. Also what do I use to cut the parts off for the part on the shoulders and the hip joint what tool is it I use?
Hot water from the tap might do it. However you make a cup of tea or coffee would probably do, stove or microwave? I just eyeball whether it's too hot. It needs to be above drinkable, below simmering. I'm petty sure all the tools are in the video but a scalpel or a pair of wire cutters would do
I suggest small wire cutters, the kind that usually come with 3d printers. Also don't microwave water, I've just googled it and it's not very safe. I do sometimes but I don't recommend it
I believe hasbro knows and counts on using these rigid balls in their joints to break, hoping customers will buy more products. It's an absolute disgusting tactic. Great review, gonna help out tremendously so my son's figure doesn't break!!!
You getting better every video
Thanks!

@@CraftyGeckocan I purchase the hands that hold the masks for the spider-men or they sold out?
@@incognito4354 they'll be back in stock in the new year, im hoping to have them back on the 2nd of January
It’s a shame Hasbro didn’t make the spider chest symbol the correct size. It’s supposed to be larger to fill in the gap between spiderweb lines.
I didnt even notice that

THANK YOU, i did the leg mod to mine and it works absolutely great. it doesn't spin the ball joint and its perfect!
I'm glad it helped!
You never cease to surprise me! Everytime you make me want to do these lol, god bless you doing these figures what Hasbro couldn't.

You may be applying too much heat, its much easier to use hot water as dry heat can be harmful
