- North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Good Friday 2024. Round trip Pickering-Whitby. 09:20 departure from Pickering.
(the evening before you couldn't book a ticket for the 09:20 online. It was FULLY BOOKED, blanked out on the web site and the only other option was the next train at 10:10) The website said the first train was fully booked. But there was loads of spaces. So anyway you will see us (Father and his 2 Sons) going on a jolly to Whitby, visiting Weatherspoon's, the pier and a boat trip. Enjoy ;-)

I dont think it's in trouble but like all attractions its vying for a market that has been strapped for cash since 2019.
still need to go back on the NYMR, not been on for about 8yrs now? did 3yrs ago stay at the houses at 7:34 but in November so only the local traffic was running. the ducks echo with the viaduct was evil....

Think they would get a lot more customers if they can pay on the day with a card or cash payments, not everyone has an app!… no it’s just tight for cash!….
