Very happy to see that a pro fabrimicator feller got this trailer kit and approves of it's design. I was also skeptical when I first read about it. Nice that the wiring goes through the side rail channels, however, living in Michigan, I'd be worried about those channels holding junk that would cause rust in the future. I ended up fining a late 90's Haulin! trailer that tilts for cheap because it needs a little work on the tongue bracket. Nice, heavy gauge main frame. Some rust in the support channels, but not too bad. Hope your rig holds up just as long!
Who else remembers the folding trailers when they were around $250 and you could use 25% off coupons?
I’m definitely going to have to get myself one for sure I’m sure my truck won’t mind hauling a trailer like this
Next I'd be welding it for some extra strength and filling up the c channels with expanding foam to keep out the muck and moisture
Would love for them to have release more versions of this over time say like a 5x12 or larger as a kit form.
Looks good I'm sure there are some glitches good schooling thanks mitch
The missing bracket literally wouldn't even have been a problem.. you could have made it yourself and powder coat it as well.. crazy how many tools and equipment you guys have! These sigmund tables alone are freaking amazing, I would really like to have one, for sure
I'm also really exited about the bigblock v-twin built! I mean the Briggs as well as the predator 670 you mentioned, when you was building the ultimate swingarm..
Keep buildn'! 🔥
Great information Greg , thank you
Not bad I like it!!!
First thing I did to mine after I got it together was cut that 4 pin flat plug off the wireing harness and put a 7 pin rv plug on the harness I have 7 pin on my 4 trailers. I have two 1982 one 4 x 8 and one 5 x 10 and an 1983 a true boat trailer with 14 foot john boat on it and a 14 foot dump trailer my new 5 x 10 is two days old now.
Still waiting on a video on the overland trailer
We just got the battery’s in for it. Should be working on it in about two weeks.
Is the jack fully retracted at the end of the video? It looks a little low.
❤❤
stuck between the harbor freight trailer or the tractor supply 1
To be honest I was very impressed with the HF one. What is the price difference?
@@RedBeardsGaragethe TSC one is $1999, but has the full width tailgate/ramp. But a fully decked out HFT one is about $1600 depending on how much deck flooring will cost.
Not very impressed. Very crude looking with the open C channel exposed around the perimeter, not to mention how dirt and moisture will collect in it to rust. I'd definitely be looking at ways to cover the C channel openings for both looks and corrosion protection.
Did you get hurt at the end of the video ? :D
No but it sounded worse than it was lol.
Im going to get a megolodon mega moto mini bike and put a 670cc and 780 series cvt
I mean, I'd trust it off highway. Also would not use it if I lived anywhere that uses a lot of salt.
It looks like a great trailer when it is finished, but I think I am willing to pay my trusty, decades old, local manufacturer’s very reasonable price for a welded one. …but that’s just me.
