One key difference between the golden generation and this team is the quality of strikers. We really need to find quality strikers.

This is the best we've ever been. I'd call this the golden generation. We don't have the big names like we did, but as a team this one is superior.

Wow what an incredible take, did you realise that just now... like 20 years after we last had a player like Kewell or Viduka playing for some of the biggest clubs in the world? Are you even aware of the talent coming through? No, go back to watching AFL. A whole bunch of guys in this team have under 10 caps, either in their teens of early 20's. You can always tell when a fair weather fan makes a comment.
For the first time since the ange era i am excited about this Australia team, we have an opportunity over the next 10 years to build something, honestly we shouldve won by atleast 5 and that is the down side and it happen in the world cup, had we had good finishing even against england we would've gotten a result that is my only concern but apart from that there is real chemistry and it is great to see both mens and womens doing well
the difference between men and womens teams is that men are easily taken away by fame and moment and tend to do things themselves (wrong confidence) whereas women are mire teamwork and sometimes under-confidence even though they are more than capable to!

Jordy Bos looks promising each time he steps on to the park. More so than Tom Rogic who recently retired. That guy was lazy at international level. Skills yes, but commitment, no. Could have been great but his heart and head weren't there.

Here’s hoping this fixture can be regularly rotated between home soils when international windows permit. Granted you won’t pack out Homebush for a fixture against New Zealand but this match could be played in smaller cities and regions.
