Hi! There were 4 nurses in our infusion center, and usually 1-2 providers. Some patients did not always have a infusion appointment and provider appointment. Some only came in for an infusion, some only to see a provider, and some came for both
I had a diploma degree first then I did an RN to BSN program. You can do a BSN program right away or do a diploma or associates program-sit for you RN lisensure- then go back to get a Bachelors in nursing which would be called an RN to BSN peogram
Do you have any advice for someone who is a recent college grad but looking to maybe make a career switch to nursing in a few years? I need to pay down some of my student debt first, but I feel like I missed my calling
Hi Sara, great question! I think there's numerous options that you could pursue. Since you already have a degree, I would look into an accelerated nursing program. You could obtain your BSN within 18 months or so depending on the program and if you have the necessary prerequisites. I'd definitely recommend working in healthcare if you are not currently. Even if you want to wait a few years to pay down your student debt (which I think is smart) I think it would be wise for you to be exposed to the nursing world by becoming a CNA/PCT. You can still make some good money and depending on the medical facility that you're at, they may provide tuition assistance!
Could I somehow speedrun the Pre-reqs from Sophia or Capella? to shorten the process from 2-3 Years?
My hospital has 16 month RN diploma program, and it's free if you' work 2 years for them. Can't beat it.
That's awesome!
Hi, which program is that? Do people like the program?
Wow that's great, what hospital is it? Sutter? Kaiser?
Which hospital program is this?! Diploma programs are SO hard to come by now!
Also can I mention a Career Technical Education school my local school has a PN Program that allows you to take the NCLEX PN
Hey Katherine! How many nurses were working in your outpatient office? And how many providers were there. Did each provider have their nurse?

Great information, do you know any schools to do LVN to RN 100% online. Thank you.
I have never heard of that, I believe for LPN to RN programs, clinicals are a requirement
