Cheers to Willie is right! The cool thing about Willie is he is a true song writer. With a lot of killer songs. Like Crazy! I've become obsessed with finding original authors, because usually it's not the artist you hear or know it from. Pick a song, hmm, Beat Me Daddy, Eight To the Bar. I know it from Commander Cody, but of course they didn't write it. And other artists have done it before them. The piano sheet I've got for this has got some really cool transitional chords in it, like diminished, and minor-7ths. Kinda like Crazy has. I'm trying to make sense of those. You throw in some nice transitions in this simple piece. I like that. So tracking down original author is kinda fun as it leads to other discoveries, like The House of Blue Lights Song, from same author, Don Raye. This goes way back, fun song, there's a you-tube of Chuck Berry playing it with a piano player called Johnnie Johnson, who I read discovered Chuck, and shoulda got credit for some of his tunes. Very cool. Good find. I still get tricked, like Won't back down, I thought was from Johnny Cash, but I find out it's Tom Petty and Johnny covered it. Crazy.

When this pandemic is over you and Willie should come back to Rochester together and play a bigger venue so I can get tickets before it sells out this time. Saving our stages sounds like a great charity to me. I lost out on three gigs my band mates and I had booked right before this all went down.
