It’s nothing to be ashamed of at all but there’s nothing difficult about this though. I know there are a lot of shit welders out there or folks that wanna call themselves welders, but this isn’t difficult. Still looks great though and wish there were more out that had the patience and pride.

How do you know it's vertical? Cameras can be rotated and positioned at any angle.

Yea I’ve always been taught to weld downhill unless you gotta go uphill which sometimes you do and in my experience some things weld better for me when I go uphill with it but I like to be hardheaded too lol, but he had both of them looking nice and he cleaned up the fisheye, you can’t ask for no better than that

The tie did it for me. The entire time as soon as you got to the end I kept saying do not stop now, do not stop now, do not stop now and you did not disappoint. That was finished in the most bad ass and most professional way possible.
I do mostly stick welding at work and mig at home when working on small projects. I have yet to try tig and would love to one day.
You’re definitely someone I can learn from.

Welder here. So genuine question on this, wouldn’t the backside need a gas covering? Isn’t it soaking up atmosphere? It’s a gorgeous weld with good merger of the start and finisher.

Consider the fact that the top pass was welded from the outside since you can see the crater of the weld pool while the lower pass was from the inside and they’re identical inside and out. Same penetration. This is a TIG master.
