I see someone else has already tipped you about the size of the blanket. I would call it a recovery blanket, a car blanket or something other than a baby blanket. Many places have rules about selling items with the word 'baby' in it, because there's strict rules about temperature control, materials used etc. Can I also suggest that your gran make 'fidget' blankets or tubes? These are for seniors with dementia and keep their hands busy, lowering their agitation. Take a knitted or crochet rectangle, attach buttons, laces, satin ribbon etc for different textures, onto one side, then roll up and secure either by stitching or velcro. that could be a joint venture with your gran! all ages enjoy keeping their hands cosy and fidgeting with the hidden items!
I don't know ANYTHING about knitting or crocheting I just enjoy watching these videos while I batch make my handmade hair bows. I personally would not be surprised to see $100 or more on that blanket!!

It's now 30 years old and one of my most treasured items. I wish I had one of her blankets. Good job on your market!

I also wanted to say make sure you take your travel and setup expenses out of your profits as they are tax deductible. This market and others may not be a success on paper (I would say you might be in the red finanicially on this one), but there's other benefits like being out there getting a good reputation, building a following, repeat business etc. I just watched refined vibes market vlog summary in Arizona and she dealt with a less than friendly vendor who seemed to be comparing prices, quality and sales volume with her own crochet sales that day. Refined vibes made a very good point- don't change your prices, your good manners and rapport with your customers, your overall can-do happy attitude! Camaraderie! not competition! you are all in this together, even if there's 20 crochet vendors. people will spend their money where they want to, on products that appeal to them. Just keep your high standards and be a leader!
My mom was a WWII WAC Vet, and the last 15-20 years of her life she crochet lapghans for Vets in the Vet hospital. Some years she was able to 'only' make around 10, but one year she donated over 20, and she was in the local (tiny town!) newspaper for what she did. So I think lapghans would be a good thing to sell!

Your grandmas blanket is adorable. Grandmas can be stubborn so maybe pay her back for the yarn only or go buy her some more so she can continue to knit. She’s not losing “money” this way, just a bit of time.
Last week i took my daughter (5) with me to an event. They had someone dressed as Spider-Man and she loves Spider-Man. Booth Fee: $20 Daughter was hungry and thirsty: $13 Daughter saw a bow at another vendor she loved and it was just around her birthday: $10 Sales Total for me that day: $25 My day total overall: -$18 and nothing new crocheted lol.
@CrochetCustoms She had the BEST time lol. Definitely worth it. I ended up getting to go to an extra market the next day and did well so it balances out as well.
I would not go back after you finish 10 you paid for. At least you are getting your table fee back and some but I think you would be better off somewhere else. I do markets and if some was too slow, I mark it as "don't do it again " LOL
I am all for everyone having a chance at markets and competition and such but I feel it is sooooooo wrong that any of these market holders allow more than 1 of each type of vendor. Shame on them! That to me is them not caring for their vendors. I am honestly shocked anyone comes back to them after pulling that.

With the bigger size of that blanket, you could call it a lap blanket also. My mom makes those for seniors, or those in wheel chairs. Just an idea 😊
