Hi, I would like to know can we set the follow me mode to automatically follow the football and zoom in when its other side of the ground far from camera and zoom out when its near to the camera. Can this be done?..Could you please test this use case?
Thanks for your comment. I contacted the brand to get a more accurate answer so I get it correct for you. This is their reply. At present, our Follow Me mode cannot automatically enable zoom in and zoom out, nor can it set a football as a tracking object. Such new features may need to be added in future app updates.
So my son is in high school. How well do you think this would work in the stands about 40 yds from the field? Just trying to figure out if that would be to far away for tracking back and forth.
So you are already 40 yards from the side of the field....hmmmm. For best results, it is advisable to be next to the filed in the middle or half way line. I am not sure would will get the desired results being that far away. Unless you can ask to place it closer to the field on a tripod?
I'm just gonna put it out that the tracking is nowhere near as good as is implied here. I've had mine for a few weeks so am definitely still learning how to optimize it but losing track of the ball is very common. To get really good coverage I need to have the remote in my hand and correct it when this happens.
Thanks for your comment. The tracking is stated at 85%. Do you have the tripod to reach the 4m? It also depends on the height you set the gimbal and I find the light also does play a role in it. The remote does help and if you have an iWatch, that can act as a remote to help assist in the movement when it does move away at times. I have seen a few coaches use it in their hands and just follow left and right manually using the gimbal buttons - but that is on much smaller pitches for younger players.
@@thereviewdaduk , yeah I've got a 13ft tripod. I've tried both 7v7 and 9v9, both morning times. It just takes a lot to get it to track effectively. Last weekend it locked onto my GK and stared at him for about 10 minutes. Usually when it loses the ball it starts to 'scan' to try to find it, it didn't even try that this time so my assumption is it thought he was the ball. I'm going to keep trying, but its nowhere near 85% in my experience (4 games so far)
@@goharderr , I didn't record last couple of games as it was too much of an effort. I ended up having to have the remote in my pocket and correcting it which was too distracting. I really struggles getting distracted by a coach etc. on the sideline. I know they say "have no blockages", but that's neally impossible, on one side you'll have parents and the other you'll have coaches. The problem is not that it gets distracted, its that it then never seems to realize so. It can sit recording a dude standing there for 10 minutes. They need to build some form of confidence metric into what it thinks its looking at. A single dude with no movement, no balls, nothing in the frame cannot be correct and at that point it should go back into search mode. Its a shame because there are a lot of things they could do to make this signiifcantly better (e.g. they have pan limits but not tilt limits).
Yeah. You are correct. Others have costly monthly fees. This one does not, and you can store the files locally as well. I find the streaming and scoreboard so cool.

Great bit of kit this!
Great value compared to Veo and the like which are over priced and and have costly subscriptions.

The future is really here, what will they think of next!
