black and white were my favorite games of the series, seeing a remix of my second favorite game ever in that style just makes me happy.
BLOOMING VILLAIN sounds like it fits this console... what a crazy ... it’s this game man it’s the game that keeps on giving
1.25 speed gives a Strikers/Scramble feel. I like it. That is all.
Honestly i think 1.25x fits more. The bpm in early gens (especially gen5) got insane, in the good way of course.

No joke, I think this is better than the original. The rough, grating sounds of Blooming Villain sound much more natural on BW's soundfont than something high-definition like P5's. My opinion only, but I prefer this one :)
I get what you mean, but personally, I think the guitar of the original works wonders for the drop instead of violins.

I wonder what N's palace would be as he already has a castle? Perhaps a prison referencing his relationship with Ghetsis and obligations to Team Plasma as he is "Prisoner to a formula" and perhaps it would even have this twisted childlike theming like that one world in PQ2

Playing a Pokemon game in this exact style would be sick!
A deeper, more mature Pokemon game with Persona-esqe esthetic, where you aren't sure about winning every battle... I think that could truly revive the franchise. To give that sense of adventure, a plot that's not necessarily a Pokemon story (rival, gyms, evil team, a legendary to catch, league), but a story in itself. Not just breezing through predictable, scripted objectives (I got that feeling when playing X and Moon). Of course, even B/W, B2/W2, and Persona games have objectives you need to clear, but it didn't feel so... empty? I can't quite put it into words.
(It wouldn't have to be as hard as some Fangames where, without a specific type against some opponents, you'll just lose. But for example, Pokemon Reborn, though hard, was a whole world, with many stories, fit almost entirely in a city and its outskirts)
Well, as a person whose first pokemon game was White, surely I'm biased, but for me, it was THAT game. A noob that didn't even know English that well (it's my second language) was blindly venturing into Unova. I still remember not knowing about HMs being a thing, finding a random location like Abbysal Ruins, throwing countless pokeballs at Zekrom, losing against Ghetsis. Not knowing what to expect was the greatest. Just exploring vast world with a trusted Snivy and every cool pokemon I came across...
My first Pokemon was Pokemon black, my favorite Pokemon game to this day, the way it goes compared to other Pokemon games is better on my opinion it feels like a journey with gyms and difficult paths on the way instead of your main objective just getting to be the champion you are trying to save the way Pokemon and humans live together, and Pokemon games kind of don't feel that way anymore, persona games are all dungeon crawlers but you always have a reason to, is not because you say oh lemme just become the champion bye Mom (well except persona 3 you just explore it at the start because you don't know what it is and that gives you motivation to keep exploring and mementos in persona 5 to do the request) after beating multiple Pokemon games doing gyms and stuff feels unrewarding because the bits of story aren't that worthy

That's why current pokemon games just don't do it for me anymore. That's also why, at some point, I started to prefer Fangames... Though I don't have the time for them anymore. Also, most of them became kinda repetitive or were never finished xp

y'know i'm not really sure. fl studio says i spent just under 7 and a half hours on it, but most of that's probably just me using it as background music.

thanks, but most of the work was already done for me, since i used someone else's midi as a base. i did have to make some heavy modifications to get it to sound like this though. just changing the instruments and calling it a day usually doesn't work for stuff like this, although as you can probably imagine, it's what most people end up doing. not to mention needing to change parts that are flat-out incorrect, but that's inevitable. nobody's perfect, after all.
