    10 -15 min incline walks while mentally preparing for the work ahead is a great warm up!! copenhagen planks and some back extensions feel good too!

    6:25 I have adhd and a doctor said it's like having a mental erectile dysfunction. We can use the same analogy for the fried CNS. You can will it all you want but the body will not respond the way you like it to. It's not a matter of will at that point. That's why I'm a big proponent of "only train as much as you can recover". Period. I'm going as far as to say that your "recovery game" is more important than your "training". And I'm not just talking about sleep. Non sleep deep rest. "out of training" stress management. Heck emotional and time management. So many variables. Very near and dear to my heart. Real interesting!

    Motivation is fleeting. Treat it as an emotion. They come and go. DIscipline takes care of you when motivation is not there (considering you invest in discipline). Auto regulation is also an amazing tool!

    Wow! This is truly an amazing series! Love your insight and intelligence! Such a phenomenal person! Please get your sleep study as soon as possible. It could make a big difference if you have sleep apnea to have a treated keep going man you are amazing.

      thank you so much! Yeah I ordered a CPAP so im hoping it helps. I've already cleaned up the caffeine intake and introduced some more magnesium supplements so things have gotten a litttttle better but, if I could increase my sleep quality by even 5% id be happy

    I understand a lot of what your saying about stress and sleep issues, I’ve had issues for sleeping for a while and I truly don’t know what it’s like to train heavy with good sleep

    Been looking up to you since I was 17, and I remembered you replying to me and giving me advice on cardio and powerlifting back then. I’m 19 now, and have been busy with uni, but I definitely plan on competing soon but I’ll keep my head down and keep working until then!
