The more I wrench on Minis the more I appreciate the German engineering - of course sometimes things are "over engineered" and "over complicated" but with the exception of a few squeaks and rattles these cars seem to be very well put together.
How easily does the cover come off the handle itself and how easy can a new one be put on? is it just a case of snapping it back into place or does it use an adhesive/glue?

Totally agree

I don’t think I’ve ever removed the cover itself, if you are painting it, just mask off the underside
Is the connector easy to get back in? also is it just plug and play as mine needs replacing with a new unit. Thanks
Yes they are plug and play so you can get one from another car and swap it straight over
Amazing thanks!
mine is also stuck on with glue, is it ok to just take it off or will i not be able to get it back on
Hi as per the video it is held on with screws so glue won’t add anything unless screws are missing
Do you have a black eyed purple aka purple Haze mini?
I don’t no
