Good questions. His character story says "That 14-year-old boy got lost in the snowy forest. Pursued by bears and wolf packs, he lost his footing and fell into a bottomless crack in the earth's surface. There, he witnessed the endless possibilities of another ancient world." I like to think the abyss is just a form of power that humans can’t understand and the reason why they get corrupted by it is because of the overwhelming amount of knowledge that they get a good example could be ruhkkadahvata who is corrupted by forbidden knowledge and couldn’t understand it, despite being a God but she was still able to endure that pain but I think that has something to do with her being a divine meeting perhaps celestial powered that to heaven use is that of power of the stars? In space while the abyss is holding or preserving that power so the abyss isn’t necessary evil like you said, but it could cause great disaster if not handled properly
IMO if the imaginary represents everything that is and can possibly be then the abyss it’s everything that is not and cannot never be, it’s a ream of paradoxes but what’s interesting it’s that it’s own life forms and consciousness that wishes to be, to exist because the abyss cannot be, but when they enter in the imaginary their existances are painful and lack any inner logic, they turn to living paradoxes and threaten to collapse over time and pull others into the abyss with them
Iirc Zhongli isn't the only one. Venti guides souls too like we saw in his SQ. But that brings up two questions. Who did the guiding when he was asleep? And did all the original Archons do something like this? I don't honestly expect Ei to know anything about this except the bare minimum. Makoto probably did the heavy lifting on these matters while Ei defended Inazuma. Nahida probably has some method due to Irminsul and most of the Fontanians just became human.
Ei might not have done it in the past but now she concerns herself with all matters having to do with Eternity and the way of Inazuma as it was back then, so this would have been one of those things. She’s much more in the know then people realise. I keep getting surprised at how people miss all these things in her lore.
True, but let me just say that regardless, Zhongli's relationship with the whole quelling the souls of the dead, the Taishan mansion, and the trial of earth, his parallels with Yanwan ye, is still too much to be considered in the topic and relevant to the question of what happened in Venti's SQ.

When you explained the ley lines and showed Dainsleif at 33:50 I noticed that his arm has the same blue cracks as the leylines. I wonder if that means anything and whether or not that adds to his Bough Keeper title.
@@ziebus904 That would be interesting. I think My Name for Now (or someone else, I don't remember ;-;) said that Dainsleif may be the the mortal remains of the third descender. @@xpearlxBy the way, this is a super stupid theory based on nothing. Firstly, Dainsleif is an ordinary captain of a Khaenri'ah combat unit in a nation without gods, so he cannot be associated with something divine. And also it does not coincide with the timeline, Dainsleif is 500+ years old, he was born very recently before the cataclysm, when the third descender died several thousand years before the existence of Khaenri'ah. Also, there is no connection between Dainsleif and gnosis, and if you do this theory, then Piero is more suitable here, who founded an organization that collects Gnosis to overthrow Celestia, although Piero is also just an ordinary magician from Khaenri'ah who was also born quite recently before the Cataclysm.

Damn I was really looking forward to it
Truly excellent
Why would Gold want to save all these souls? That's a lot of work. She can just bring a few of them back in the form of her creations.
Trismegistus indeed
Am I ever gonna read trismegistus normally again? No
But that’s okay cuz this theory is awesome
this is ashikai level of quality video, I hope it will get a lot of likes as much as it deserves
Ad more crazy and here we are
Omg i love your theories. I want to ask smthg . Do u think that teyvat only went through 4 cycles only ? Or could there be unrelaible narrator that we should consider
I suppose 5 if you count the prehistoric times before Nibelung. But as far as Genshin's inspirations go, 4 seems to be the magical number. There is even a voice line from the World Quest on Tsurumi Island with Ruu and Paimon talking about the Rule of Four.
@@DragonMJE after i watched ur video i thought if irminsul would have lines just like tree have line after a year, if i am not wrong the lines dissappear and reappears with addittional line. Then i thought do we have irminsul logs then i thought what about normal genshin trees. THEY ALL HAVE 4 LINES !!
Edit: sorry , most of them i found two 3 lined and 1 5 lined i am sorry i couldnt find from what tree they r
Excuse me,but are saying Rhinedottr may intended to "cleanse" the abyss?
That is just mindblowing.
Maybe you already have some ideas for your upcoming videos,
But I wonder if thermodynamics is involved in all of this? (like, I feel like it has to)

Suic***l person be like: are you sure about that?
I just got an ad about reincarnation lol. Talk about on topic.
Could this mean that the reason that the kaenrians are immortal was cause they already were outside of the cycle and given a body by gold? Cause they were already pull out of the darkness ?
I LOVE IT
Your ideas and the video itself is top notch. But calm down my guy. Slow down a bit when you talk. Kinda hard to keep up with you. But great video non the less
Is full metal alchemist a good representation of alchemy cuz that’s all I watched 😂
It is reasonably good
Yeah, it is decent. Obviously not an in-depth look but it gives you a general idea.
About as good as Death Note being a representation of crime.
I have to watch this video in 0.75x
I dont know if its intentional (doubles view time) or u just talk fast
Cool theory 👍
Aren't souls connected to elemental energy
Wow
40 mins!!!!
Lore
Considering how many times you made fun of the name you really don't like "Trismegistus" lol
🤍💚🤍💚🤍
The humans are not alien - only the Primordial one and her shades. Humans were created with Teyvat's primordial seawater, much like Egeria. This is why Neuvillette is able to use the primordial seawater in the Fontanians' bodies to turn them into fully-fledged humans.
If you spoil another recent anime in this I will stomp on your tinfoil hat.
for some reason i can't watch your videos. the way u introduce things in the messiest most annoying way, u better find a way to make ur videos more digestable and light and easy without screaming in the video. good job for the effort tho
ry .
Amazing Video!
