I like how utilized resources drive the economy, improvements drive resources, and massive stacking plus broad usage gives you good options to win economically. I like this condition a lot.
Thanks for the really clear tutorial, Ursa! The merchant mechanics in the antiquity age confused me at first. I didn’t realize that I needed to move the merchant unit to the other settlement’s borders. I then assumed it had to go all the way to the city centre. Your video helped show me that I just need to enter their borders. You rock!! 🥳🥳
Great summary, thank you! 2 Qs: Is there a screen that shows all established trade routes? Can you see beforehand if a merchant can reach any cities to trade with? I‘ve built them and all were too far away ..
I love how different victories build on each other. Economic is helped with military (sinking ships), culture (spots to put stuff), and science (unlocks building skills you need)
Very cool video. I have a question, when you use a Great Banker unit in different capital, it costs you Gold and Influence. Is there a way to see how much it will cost you before you activate a great person? Or you need to guess depending of your relationship with another nation?
This probably isn't true, but I want to believe that this wincon is specifically because you badgered Firaxis repeatedly about where the railroads were
as someone who is jumping with friends straight into multiplayer what would you say is the easiest victory to go for considering the changes from civs 5&6 to civ 7
is a trade route permanent? As I understand I can only establish maximum of 2 trade routes with another civ. 1 by default and 1 by improve relationships. So lets say I create 2 routes in 2 of their settlements. In the future they may have another city with better resources.. can I change one of my routes to another city?
If one of my cities is taken in the ancient Era after finishing the path, will I lose the points gained by the resources that were assigned to that city?
Maybe not the best place for this question but does anyone know if there’s a setting to always show all tile yeilds? Hoping this might help mitigate the UI issues for now.
One of those UI-not-showing-information issues which is really annoying and should probably not exist on release, but will probably be fixed eventually
I love a building a big economy in civ 6 then I always get frustrated when I have forty cities to run and my phone starts chugging overheating and eating battery about a percent a minute 🙏
40 cities? Holy fuck thats a big empire. I'm pretty sure my PC would be slowing down visibly at that point, which usually only happens on big map dominations.
@@UrsaRyan I have a feeling they looked at the popularity of the pirates mode in civ 6 and probably have some ideas in mind because it fits so well with treasure fleets. Love your stuff ursa 🫶
How are you guys able to to this??? I play on easy. Was able to get through the first age with a golden age. Second Age one of the civs completed it in like 20 turns and I think max 60 turns till we got into modern age. I am now 10 turns into it and dude already got planes and tanks. Started a war on everyone and I even though my economy is amazing and I can hold him off. the AI is insanely powerful and I have no chance against them. They just wiped out 2 other civs. Feel like the AI is unbalanced as fuck.
YEESSSS RAILWAY VICTORY
HUZZAH!!
I do love that in every age, resources are what drive economy
They make a huge difference as well!
With SONGHAI one of their civics unlocks homeland treasure fleets generating in cities on navigable rivers.
This will definitely be my favorite play style victory. Thank you for the rundown!
Glad it's helpful = )
I will say this looks the most fun and most chill one to get
It's chill till you start sinking treasure fleets

Commenting for early video release engagement. Looking forward to the video Ursa
Huzzah!
Thank you for putting this together so quickly. It'll really help the burgeoning Civ7 community.
By far the most helpful series of videos for civ7. Are you going to be able to get the 4th one out today?
Thanks so much! Next one is... tomorrow!
Happy 70k subs Ursa!!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much!!
Resisting the urge to just be a pirate and sink treasure fleets only lol
DO IT
We have Ea-Nasir in Civ7 before GTA6
IS THERE NO LIST OF ACTIVE TRADE ROUTES???
Is there a way to check active trade routes??
15:31 that memento is a really cool reference
I LOVE RAILWAYS

Thank you. Played previous game, however thus system is not intuitive.

You can improve relations more than once
Can the New World civs advance on the Economic Legacy Path in the Exploration age? Or are they locked out?
YEs and no - they can't in the usual way but they seem to get points for something - need to work that out...!
If one of my cities is taken in the ancient Era after finishing the path, will I lose the points gained by the resources that were assigned to that city?
It's a high water mark - so you keep the highest score you've had at any point
That's good to know, thanks!

On keyboard you press Y - there is an option on the left as well you can press
@@UrsaRyan 🙌Thank you. Time to make some yield p*rn with Isabella and natural wonders.
It seems odd that the World Banker doesn't show the cost upfront to use his ability, it would be a nice quality of life change.

I would love to see this added in
Choo! Choo! Ahem… huzzah?

Daily comment.
I want an exploration pirate civ that I can blockade other players treasure fleets with.
Make it so!

About 9 hours now.

Just Culture left!
Economic victory screen having the houses of parliament in despite Britain not even being available at launch... 🤦
Haha - I know, what a kick in the teeth...
@UrsaRyan still, absolutely loved the video as usual mate ! ❤️
10:25 wait I recognize this game :O It's the China serie! What a spoil :(
Don't know what you mean :P
Are you saying “Shwanee”?
