High Boy (Alf's High Rustler) - Jan 15, 2022 - Alta Ski Area

You can skip to the run by going to 5:15, if you don't want to see the "work" it takes to get there in the first place! Given the amount of snow we have right now, getting to the run is tricky with lots of rocks, tree roots and other challenges! Sorry for the lengthy section getting to the entrance! I was being very careful since my skis are brand new, and I don't want to pinball off of the trees for half a mile.

Wow so crusty. I was there last week... much softer. For the first time ever I did Alfs and Great Scott in the same day. Have to say I think the snow on Great Scott was drier and lighter, maybe because it's higher and the Cirque ridge blocks the sun better? Can u pls explain how the camera angle and direction are controlled?

Yeah this was during a spell where we had no new snow. Definitely better in March.
