It was so much fun Dorte. I seemed old compared to everyone else but that doesn't matter. 😉

Good video. Was there the first time in 1990. The first larger hotel was built in 1991. Then it was a paradise island. The last time I was there in 2006. In the tsunami, you could see traces of all the trees that were washed away. Now when you watch the video, all I see is a big building with a blue roof. They have ruined the cozy island. Too much like the mainland. Very sad development.

I can only imagine how amazing it must have been in the early 90s. Thanks for your comment. :-)

I’m not really a big drinker nowadays. I really would like to visit Phi Phi though. It looks great though. Thanks for sharing.

@@AlwaysonaJourney absolutely. I want to thank you actually. You made a video about Thailand’s entry requirements a while back, and in particular, completing the online stuff to get the pass. It was all so complicated but you gave us all a calm and concise walk through. It was the best video of that type that I saw. Teya was pretty good too but she gets a bit confused, God bless her. Thanks for that.

@@TonyKeepingItClean Thank you. I know who you mean. I think my advantage is having English as my native language but she is a great source of information.

When did you visit? would Feburary be lively for nightlife?

We visited there on the 1st August. It was cloudy someday. The best time to visit is Jan-Apr. So February will be amazing.

The English really messed this place up with their BS music. I wished they played new songs all night. If you’re black, don’t think you’ll hear good music. Go to Patong

I just think things change depending on what the younger generation prefer. House music will always be a winner for me.
