Hello again. First (and so far, only) time I fought that dude in the intro, I got hit with that insta-kill grab, so that was fun. Definitely an interesting build, seeing you tank all those attacks and just continuing to shoot.
There’s zero alternative to this build specifically. There’s definitely ways to get shields without this build but the entire build revolves around insulator
currently just running a ranged prism with all ranged stats, i have another prism maxed out but the one on this build is level 48 so i havent gotten the legendary yet
@@stephenpartridge6021 so I typically run both crit options, and ranged damage. Weak spot damage is also possible. On the prism rolls I have 3 fusions and all the stats are basically all of the ranged stats you can think of. Both crit, ranged dmg, weak spot, reload, gun range, fire rate, etc
You need insulator on your main gun as that’s one of the core pieces for f the build to keep infinite shields. The other gun can be any preference. I’ve liked time wave but you can do any mutator that works well with the secondary you choose
thats tough to say, you might need more shields due to the extensive damage but it has a chance of working. The shields on this build arent strong exactly as they are only 45% of hp but what makes them good is you can re apply them every second depending on the gun you are using. So possible yes but you might need an extra ring or two building into shields. Or even Warden instead of challenger as primary
Yeah I’ve even used full auto weapons with large magazines and they work fine with the build. The 1 shot just gives you the entire shield off of one bullet vs needing to unload an entire magazine. Bows I like but not for this build since you need to build into the shield and bow draw speed which takes away from the damage specific rings but they definitely work and I’ve been meaning to try them

Tightly Wound Coil build. but how you have so much shield its only 15% with ring.
It’s the Insulator mutator on the gun, it gives 25% shield for literally just shooting your gun basically 🤣

Does rampage actually provide stagger resistance? I thought it was the other challenger skill that gives that?
It does indeed, it allows you to keep shooting and providing shields without ever having to dodge. It’s a perfect combo

Would this build be viable with the legendary bonus Brutality? All Damage Dealt and Received is increased by 100%.

Get better shielding with bows, but i used sparkfire which has even more ammo, and still was good. This one of my fav builds

It’s the coach gun, you can purchase from the gun vendor in the ward. Massively underrated
