I rock insulator on every bow except for genesis simply just because of the long charge up time. I’m not willing to give up supercharger lol

Crit is a safer bet yes especially since sometimes weak spot gets a bit funky with the monarch. Crit is always a safe option

That’s a fair enough assessment, I feel like the range effects me like 1-2% of the time so not enough for me to bring it down because of that but I can see why someone wouldn’t like it as much

@@kranolive I do like it, but I feel like I shouldn't have to pull out my handgun to hit distant targets because my long gun can't do it.

Again I get what you’re saying I just don’t feel like that happens to me. It’s all personal preference and how something feels, the only time I feel it’s range is in very specific situations which again is like 1-2% of the overall experience so not enough for it to bother me. I do understand the gripe tho

Honestly my only complaint with the build

I mean it’s way faster than mine, not sure how to get it that fast, seems pretty good you’re blasting right away

I do try to keep it heated up as much as possible so I kind of pre fire corners a bit lol. Martial tempo is the only thing I can think of that is boosting it. And also I don’t think I’ve looked into scavenger so I’ll look into it next time I’m on

I use zero divide with basically all Of my ranged builds. That doesn’t take away from that being a downside when you are trying to run a different build that requires a different amulet like a misty step build if you ran a shotgun would be terrible

Its mod used to make any enemies hit take 15% more damage. Now it doesn’t and it just does damage, 99% of the reason people used monolith was for the mod. It’s still a fun gun and can be used but it’s versatility and strength in builds plummeted

Of course! And I lived the devastator too, closest to it is the rupture cannon which itches that itch enough for me to be satisfied

And I use flash grenade with full armour break causing explosion and with the bow fully heated it does massive stun damage.

I like the idea for sure, I used to use the stun version of rapid fire as well. Maybe worth a try at some point again

I tried chain, pierce, and fork, I think in this stream I was actually using fork instead of chain. Chain is the best option which I’ve been using recently simple because it’s guaranteed to hit another enemy, if there isn’t an enemy directly behind the one you’re shooting pierce becomes not as good. Honestly I’m still perfecting the build so I’m not set on chain but I am liking it

@@kranolive ıve found that pierce and chain doesnt work together, and on community they told me to use scattershot

Yeah I believe chain specifically states in the skill that it is not effected by pierce which is why I don’t run them together. I used scattershot a lot earlier in my build and just did not feel like it did anything for me especially because I use fresh clip which is a massive dmg boost. So you want to reload as often as possible and scattershot makes it take a lot longer to get if the entire “magazine/clip” of the crossbow which means you aren’t getting that buff as often

I did my ascendancy when I didn’t have a full grasp of the game so I wasn’t 100% sure what to pick honestly

That’s fair, it’s been a second since I made the video but I believe I said it’s just slightly more damage and personal preference. They are very comparable so that’s a fair point

Luckily there are always at least decent replacements. Ranged builds if you are missing something just replace it with another ring that helps ranged damage. That’s why I put asterisk *️⃣ next to things in the builds so you knew what you could change out if you don’t have it

Echo of the forest poured with redeemer gives you infinite relic charges and so you use shielded heart with it. For the coach gun one you use the insulator mutator which gives you shields alongside tightly wound coil ring

I have definitely used bolt driver with sequenced shot on this build and it is a monster, with the build I never plan on swapping off the genesis so there’s no real point in having a strong secondary when I can just huff the damage of the genesis. Also for me zero divide is a must especially on shotguns and bows as they love chewing through ammo. I have used both your suggestions and this is just the most comfortable version of the build for me. It’s not all about power but compromising with comfort as well. I agree with your points mostly tho

So where's your ammo accommodation? U would need the ring that gives you ammo back

@ you don’t need zero divide in a HUGS build, gunslinger carries double ammo.

Need and like are two different things, hugs typically is fine but with shotguns and bows it sometimes still is just not enough. This is a common opinion among most remnant content creators who have thousands of hours in the game. I’m all for respectfully disagreeing but I think both opinions are valid

By the way, I don't know why but I disliked so much the Genesis Bow, unfortunately, it looks cool but doesn't fell right to me somehow. Sadly.

It is really reliant on having those two rings and a fully leveled up super charger for the mutator. With all that it feels amazing, without being built into it feels absolutely terrible

Yeah builds really start to come alive when you have everything leveled up and have almost all the items in the game because then you can really fine tune them. There’s tons of builds out on TH-cam that might click just right for ya

@@kranolive Yeah, but I'm struggling to find those rings. I hate the randomized maps because of that. I rerolled the adventure mode at least 12 times and haven't found it yet. I use bows a lot, like the crescent moon; I should love the Genesis.

@@kranolive Nah, I like to create my own builds myself; it doesn't make sense to me to copy builds in a game like this one with so much liberty. My builds work; they are just simpler. But it's funny to me to see that I'm not very creative with my gameplay lol.

They are both really good, plasma cutter will do good with any range build. Spark fire needs to be built into a bit more to truly feel good but definitely great weapons to have if you just started

@@kranolive Yeah as soon as i started i looked up all the classes and wanted warden so i made a b-line for it. Then i figured out if i just start as that i get its gear so i started with the cutter. The second class i liked the idea of was ritualist so i went out of my way to get the shotgun just in case i wanted to switch over some day.

If you play enough you’ll be switching classes multiple times a day just to try different builds. Definitely solid starting points tho

It does indeed, it allows you to keep shooting and providing shields without ever having to dodge. It’s a perfect combo
