Hello all, this video took around 24 hours to process to HD. I uploaded it yesterday! TH-cam is going through some uploading issues right now so that is why uploads have been delayed. Hope they get it sorted soon otherwise I gotta upload videos 2 days in advance to get them out on time.
New Orleans native here. The I-10 stretch entering Baton Rouge was very well done. New Orleans was a different story though. I'm glad the city is represented in C2C, but NOLA was way too close to BR (over 50 miles apart in real life), and the interstate was not mapped anywhere near what the actual interstate system looks like entering NOLA from I-10 East.
I thought it was only my grandma who said to look for white horses! I grew up in St Joe, Mo, and she was in central Kansas, so it could very well be a midwest thing, but it was funny to hear you call that out. :-)
Thank You for crusin my roads!!! Grew up in Alexandria, Lived Natchitoches, and Now Live Baton Rouge. MANY MANY TRIPS up and down I49 and i have to say that a lot of familiar roads and landmarks were modeled!!! Thumps Up!!!
I visited New Orleans in 2015. It's a cool city. I ❤️ traveling and experiencing different cultures. I definitely recommend visiting the state and the city because it's cool. I lived in Arkansas for awhile, so I was close to Louisiana. One of my favorite museums is National D-Day Museum in New Orleans. Don't forget to experience the local cuisine, too, because it is very good. I bought my mom a Cajun cookbook before I left.
When my family traveled we would always pick a truck company and see who got the highest count of trucks of the company we picked. Now my girl friend, her daughter an I play stacks. When you see a semi with two exhaust pipes we called out stacks. I have to use binoculars because of my vision problems Haha. It's fun.
Have you ever been to Dallas, or Texas even? Most the roads are like that down there. It gets really hot and they did the roads in that colour for a reason.
@Jeff - You really provide a nice reprieve from some of the day to day grind. Just wanted to thank you for that, Cheers- Yeah, 5:36 (your comment) it looks like the gamma is cranked up a bit - the roadways looking over-exposed. Glad you enjoyed your weekend, too!
I drive commercial vehicles in Canada, mostly Ontario and Quebec. I hate to say, many on-ramps in Quebec have no runway. Your actually thrown rite one the highway after the curve. But most people are pretty good about moving over a lane or giving a gap.
nice video, I see that the Kenworth T660 got updated as well as the Coast 2 Coast map mod, AFAIK the engine options for the truck are Cummins ISX, Cummins N14, Paccar, CAT, and probably Detroit Diesels as well. have you tried going up through tennessee yet?
That actually looks relatively close to a drive through Louisiana, minus the huge rocks along the road, we don't have those. Also we don't have vineyards, that would be cotton crops. And the river you were trying to pronounce, the Atchafalya River is pronounced UH-chaf-UH-lie-UH . lol
Jeff, great video as always! keep up the good work man!...one thing I picked up on is when you said your driving an 18 speed automatic...but actually in case you might not have known, under all that "automatic" crap, it is a manual transmission, so really your driving a manual truck with an "automated" clutch that shifts on its own and I'm sure you do probably know this, but it gets me when I hear so many people saying they drive an "automatic big rig"....really its not an automatic transmission, its just automated.
To be honest the roads do remind me of Texas with the exception of the no on ramp problem. The T660 is one of my favorite trucks. Hopefully they get it right one day.
Kewl to see my state of Louisiana in ATS. Louisiana does look a lot like this too. We are in the middle of a national forest. I could almost see Alexandria when you went through.
Bit of a late comment but I'd figure I'd still throw it out there, I'm from the Shreveport area and have driven up and down almost all of Louisiana. The reason the stuff was so purple in natchitoches is because the main color of the university there is purple. I'm also amazed at how accurate I-49 was
I live in shrevport and where you go to get on i-49 its nothing like that lol. That would be down town lol also you have to go to 220 to get to 49 north
14:28 Do you mean on the INTERSTATE!? I remember in 18 Wheels of Steel American Long-Haul, there was a traffic light on I-5 in Seattle. I know that *THIS* (points to video) is a mod, so theoretically, there's a higher chance that mistakes would get over-looked, but still, I figured we''ve come a long way since 18 WoS ALH. Just My 2 Cents.
I'd like you try Jon Ruda's Freightliner Classic XL. Only if you have the purchased key. I downloaded the new update for ATS version 1.33, but I can't get it to work. I said my old key should work fine and there shouldn't be any conflict with the Volvo VNL-670 mod. That's the only other truck mod I have. The other mods I use is for the Mirror FOB, and Engine mod and one called Immersive with flags for parking. I sure enjoy your trucking and flight sim. videos.
That bridge over the swamp is a bad road in real life lots of accidents on it and I grew up in Lafayette its awesome in the game makes me want to get it
Is that the Basin bridge talking about ? I live in Louisiana, New Orleans actually but I use to drive to Lafayette every Friday for work and back and always crossed the Atchafalaya Basin ..
It's funny hearing people not from New Orleans say New Orleans. I don't know why but the way we say it sounds slightly different from people not from here. But love the video
Man I drove Euro Truck Sim a couple years ago and wanted to see some places I know. I live in Texas about an hour outside of Dallas but I'm from New Orleans and wanted to see some stuff I'm familiar with. Of course the landscape isnt accurate but I'll help me learn the highway paths. Think I'm going to make the ATS investment when I get a chance.
there is a smokey and the bandit truck on the steam site if it still available but i have it but can not get the trip for smokey and the bandit but the truck was on the steam workshop
I love to play this big 24 hours every day and with non-stop I'll be at my house chilling with my son playing the game talking to you Jeff on here telling you about the game that I love truck simulator game I love to play this I can't wait till I get this game in the name of Jesus I will have it sooner or later thank you have a great have a great day Jeff
I never thought of this bit you think using a Saitek yoke for steering and rudder pedals (toe brakes for throttle and brake) would actually work? Haha its been years since I've played this but now I'm curious
I always use C2c map driving the Mack Anthem mod already have 15000 miles on it just doing east to west and back 😁. Yes the purple is correct 😁 No framedrops and I drive a lot in that area doing a lot of cargoruns from Phoenix to Florida and back.

Big mama juju Jeff 😊 I would like to see more videos of her if possible
Jeff Favignano can you go to Washington DC or San Diego if they have it
Jeff I'm using the Pete modified with the snowman paint scheme for the tractor and snowman paint on my own able trailers
Jeff, while role playing, anyone happy to meet mr. TH-cam?Do they break character to say yo?

There was mountains which was inaccurate

Well hello there my fellow Louisiana person! 😂😂😂 Praiville, Gonzalez is my stomping grounds.
Hey guys I agree with y'all and I'm a st James Parish guy
ascension parish represent
This game has better roads in Louisiana than we actually do lol
I visited New Orleans in 2015. It's a cool city. I ❤️ traveling and experiencing different cultures. I definitely recommend visiting the state and the city because it's cool. It would be awesome if you could find a Freightliner Argosy. That’s my favorite cab over truck.
they did pretty damn good with i49 and i10 in Louisiana
Daygoboy Louis makes me wonder do they have the lake Charles bridges in the mod?
@@LobbsTrucking I would think so because they do have i10 running all the way through Louisiana. It'd be cool to see the mods rendition of it
Daygoboy Louis yeah I just looked at another video, the i10 bridge was so small lol , nothing like the real thing
The Atchafalaya Basin looks soooooo real...I drove there a few months ago on i10. That's a really good job by the map maker
Would love to see you do a drive into my hometown of Houston, TX from either Dallas or San Antonio/Austin. Love the videos!
FICCK U
When my family traveled we would always pick a truck company and see who got the highest count of trucks of the company we picked. Now my girl friend, her daughter an I play stacks. When you see a semi with two exhaust pipes we called out stacks. I have to use binoculars because of my vision problems Haha. It's fun.
Can you get a load to Houston? I would like to see how they represented my city
Great Video. Risky clay has a snowman trailer he did a tribute to Smokey and the Bandit.
Have you ever been to Dallas, or Texas even? Most the roads are like that down there. It gets really hot and they did the roads in that colour for a reason.
yes many times
Jeff I would like to see more of that electric truck.
I would absolutely love to see a Smokey and the bandit run!!! Some day it will happen
Since your interested in a cab over truck how about the international 9800 or a really old truck the Mack b61
I've traveled from Dallas to Louisiana alot and the Scenery is really accurate.. love this game
Really? I love how accurate a lot of places are In this game except for the on/off ramps. I def need coast to coast!
@Jeff - You really provide a nice reprieve from some of the day to day grind. Just wanted to thank you for that, Cheers-
Yeah, 5:36 (your comment) it looks like the gamma is cranked up a bit - the roadways looking over-exposed. Glad you enjoyed your weekend, too!
Having driven that road many times the Louisiana portion it extremely realistic
I drive commercial vehicles in Canada, mostly Ontario and Quebec. I hate to say, many on-ramps in Quebec have no runway. Your actually thrown rite one the highway after the curve. But most people are pretty good about moving over a lane or giving a gap.
Could you, please, show more often the map ? Quite interested where you are cruising :D
Can you do an actual coast to coast run, AKA California to North Carolina (VIA Interstate 40 Eastbound)
yes on the c2c map.
nice video, I see that the Kenworth T660 got updated as well as the Coast 2 Coast map mod, AFAIK the engine options for the truck are Cummins ISX, Cummins N14, Paccar, CAT, and probably Detroit Diesels as well. have you tried going up through tennessee yet?
I think a old mack cab over or white freight liner cab over. I drove both those trucks in potato harvest and I loved them.
That actually looks relatively close to a drive through Louisiana, minus the huge rocks along the road, we don't have those. Also we don't have vineyards, that would be cotton crops. And the river you were trying to pronounce, the Atchafalya River is pronounced UH-chaf-UH-lie-UH . lol

You should add a stop for fuel in one of your hauls.
T660 is a nice truck for sure, but something about those W900L’s with the hoods just appeals more to me.
Suprisingly alot of scenery for C2C didnt expect this!
Hey Jeff when you drove the red kenworth remember that engine you should’ve put that engine in this kenworth
20:28 cable car's. I play the C2C mod with a fresh profile with limited mod's and that helps on fps drops.
You should do another code zero on GTA again cause those are funny as shit man
Kewl to see my state of Louisiana in ATS. Louisiana does look a lot like this too. We are in the middle of a national forest. I could almost see Alexandria when you went through.

I also from Louisiana
Same Here But SLidell.
Love when Jeff does coast to coast map
I live in shrevport and where you go to get on i-49 its nothing like that lol. That would be down town lol also you have to go to 220 to get to 49 north

Nice man, I see you were finally able to get it into HD! I’ve been watching your struggles all day on Snapchat lol
Thanks man, it's been brutal!
Jeff Favignano I can only think, do you think the LSPDFR vid will make it to HD tonight?
Great Video Jeff! Thanks for showing all your mods.
I Live in Erath, Louisiana 3 hours away from New Orleans.
The Google maps mod doesn't work with c2c so that should help you out some fps issues
My fav KW is the t800
The cloud texture is amazing!
I'd like you try Jon Ruda's Freightliner Classic XL. Only if you have the purchased key. I downloaded the new update for ATS version 1.33, but I can't get it to work. I-10 baby 💪🏽
Bridge looks like I-65 going into Saraland AL
It's so cool watching him drive places I drive everyday lol
Love the videos and also can you do wheel cams again ???
That bridge over the swamp is a bad road in real life lots of accidents on it and I grew up in Lafayette its awesome in the game makes me want to get it
Is that the Basin bridge talking about ? I live in Louisiana, New Orleans actually but I use to drive to Lafayette every Friday for work and back and always crossed the Atchafalaya Basin ..
Lookin forward to some more Oregon trucking. Really really enjoyed the logging truck videos you did!

My dad was raised in New Orleans and I visit there everyone and I love to live there very nice place

Glad u agree
Do another logging episode but with a nice flat top Peterbilt. PLEASE jeff.
It's funny hearing people not from New Orleans say New Orleans. I don't know why but the way we say it sounds slightly different from people not from here. But love the video
You should definitely try a Freightliner Coronado. Beautiful truck
Why dont you do the jdm modz Peter bullet cab over ? You've talked about it before
1. A cab over episode would be AWESOME!
2. Seinfeld!
Jeff the Washington DLC is confirmed!
i love his personality sm 😂💘
So I live in DFW and for sure the only thing I notice is there is WAY more traffic! :) Nice vid as always!
Can you do a run to Minneapolis Minnesota
Haha! Such luxurious wide lanes. Classic Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld
Favorite truck is Peterbuilt 389
there is a smokey and the bandit truck on the steam site if it still available but i have it but can not get the trip for smokey and the bandit but the truck was on the steam workshop
it hasn't been updated in ages
Thumbnail got my attention, Kdub with a spread axle curtain side trailer.

Great Video Jeff I just bought this game its $5 on Steam!
It used to be 20 lol but you might get a 3 bundle map dlc for cheap
What's up with the steering box camera
I'm Canadian, living in Newfoundland, and we have weird pronunciations for towns. I've heard people (myself included) call it Narlens
Well when you past Natchitoches the colors of the building represents Northwestern State University.
Idk if this been answered but but what got you interested in American Truck Simulator?
I never thought of this bit you think using a Saitek yoke for steering and rudder pedals (toe brakes for throttle and brake) would actually work? Haha its been years since I've played this but now I'm curious
That's one beautiful truck!
Chevron makes paint?
Kenworth, when you don't want your load delivered on time. lol. Now that I have your attention, when is the rumbler siren coming back to LSPDFR?
Jeff can you drive the Kenworth t680 next vid?
I didn’t see a I-12 exit it’s usually right there once u get on from the 10 in Baton Rouge and it’s on the left
I live in Baton Rouge so that was really awesome to see. Keep up the great videos man
The details look so good
Would love to see you go through Alabama
Legend has arrived
Does this sim use real time, as in to get from one place to another it would take the same amount of time as it would irl?
I always use C2c map driving the Mack Anthem mod already have 15000 miles on it just doing east to west and back 😁. Yes the purple is correct 😁
No framedrops and I drive a lot in that area doing a lot of cargoruns from Phoenix to Florida and back.
Would it be possible to do a truck with a detroit diesel 2 stroke?
Awesome Videos Brother, Keep Up The GREAT Work!!!
I know I’m commenting a week late but I have the Mack r and it does 8 mph on a on ramp how fast does yours
I like the cloud shadow effect that's awesome 👌👌 👌
As someone from Baton Rouge, the basin is pronounced Uh-chaf-uh-lie-uh ;) - and the speed limit on it for trucks is 55mph
i cringed when he said that ( sorry for spelling maybe )
Is the Huey P. Long bridge in this mod?
Would also be cool if you could pick up a load from Port Fourchon
You should do a charlotte to Daytona run Daytona 500 week
Map designer should have added some extra realism and reduce the truck speed limit to 55 over the Atchafalaya.
You should do more tourist bus sim!
Hey Jeff, you should out a mod called minimal adviser interface for ATS on Steam. I think you might like it.
I don't want it
