6:07 The Doppler
NS, CSX & KCS are the kings of K5LAs
0:49 ohhh so gorgeous
The Norfolk Southern and CSX Railroads use that horn the most. The horn I grew up with.
P5S are very common with ns also.
What about Amtrak?
Amtrak used that beautiful sounding horn too
u seem to have forgotten KCS has a bunch of K5LAs as well
5:06 sounds good.
7:33 sounds like Csx 7786 and Csx 358
2nd Gen K5las are my childhood..
Awesome Compilation! All of them sound great with the one at 6:40 being my favorite.
most of the power in this video has either been rebuilt or retired…
Yep!! Makes me a little sad
It’s all been rebuilt. It’s a good change because it’s a new body but keeps it Orginal horn.
Raised Letter > Narrow FontChange my mind
Nahhh, that NF nostalgia's got a brutal stranglehold on me 😂
Opinion definitely respected @@LotusbandicootRR but there's something about the 3rd Gen that I love
@@SilverThunder710 They're both great, probably my favorite of the more common horns out there. Any K5LA is a treat when I'm used to almost nothing but K5HLs nowadays
You're gonna think I'm crazy but I'm starting to really like the 2015-2016 K5HLs that are on BNSF ET44s@@LotusbandicootRR
Nice compilation! It's crazy how much things have changed since 2017
1:58 *the ear Destroyer 9000*5:44 *THAT MADE ME JUMP TOO!!*
Awesome horn complimation!💯
Crazy enough the te33a built for Kyrgyzstan railways is actually equipped with a k5la
1:03 talk about awesome power luck
Yep, just wish it would've been light enough to see the front windows a little better! That was the only triclops I ever saw while NS had them
@@LotusbandicootRR awesome buddy!!!
4:47 csx 99 y2k k5la 1st gen train is probably a AC44
7:13 nice k5la on a yn2!
0:08 beautiful
2:44 beautiful
Awsome!
3rd gen is my favorite
2:00 that kinda sounded more like a K5HL horn than a K5LAR24 horn
Honestly, it could've been... hard for me to tell but I was kinda wondering while assembling this last night
They sound like ac44s
They are commonly used for Ac44’s. Mostly common onCSX and Norfolk southern Ac44’s
