I am learning this piece now and it is very difficult. I tried to find a good recording of this piece that satisfied what I believe to be a sufficient amount of emotion, and this is the only video I could find. I watched this at least ten times and it has made me tear up every time.
I'm learning this piece right now. It's hard as hell, but it's so beautiful. However, it's hard to enjoy when there is no passion or dynamic in it. I think Mr. Nagai did a good job.

No feeling, not any of HIS feelings, and it's logic... I have other comments about that matter at other of his vids that explains it... Mesing notes is not the problem, it's the internal speech, it's plane, blank... Truly a shame, not any of that dynamics are from any of his decisions of how IT should sound, not by any inner feelings... Just a mix and balance of what an Europe pianist should play, but misses soul... He plays that way just because it is supposed to sound like that...
