You absolutely don't need fillers or botox. We love you because you are the real deal. You show us the good and the bad and we love you for that. You are beautiful and your confidence is amazing. Don't waste your money. You are perfect the way you are!!!

I will pay far more attention to an influencer who looks real vs. an influencer who looks like they’ve had fillers and treatments like Botox, etc. Because the majority of us can’t afford all those treatments, nor do a lot of us want those treatments. This is why I always click on your videos, you are a real person living in a real world and you are not trying to look like someone you are not. I will not be influenced by anyone who looks too perfect, nor will I be influenced by celebrities. Please do not ever compare yourself to those “glassy” skinned TH-camrs, you are far more relatable and appeal to your target audience.

Taren. That is why we love watching you. You being authentic and yourself (not trying to be someone you’re not OR someone you’re uncomfortable with or don’t feel right doing (filler example)) is what makes us keep coming back for more. Please never feel like you have to do something or look a certain way. Aging is a beautiful process and as a society I truly feel like we need to embrace that more. Wrinkles are part of our story. Back in the day, filler and Botox were more so used for women/men in their senior years. It’s incredibly sad to me that you have 18-60 year olds thinking they need it. Pleas keep being Taren! You shine! 🩵

Once you start with fillers you’re on a never ending path because you have to keep the skin stretched … please don’t go there. It’s fake and aging is a privilege and no one’s skin is flawless like that - photoshop and filters are EVERYWHERE and you won’t ever achieve it naturally.
It is all just a money making industry.
Concentrating on what is great about you, and curating what you see and who you see - make the effort to look at normal human beings, not injected and pumped up faces and you would be amazed at how gorgeous variety and humanity can be without looking fake.

With the filler, I was cringing when your sister was getting it. I have known of people getting it and it is just an endless cycle, filler/botox after a while it actually makes you look older even if you have less wrinkles if that makes sense. And the filler can move and after a while it will build it and will look distorted a lot of times, I know a lot of people stop using filler and dissolved it, but it takes time. Anyway aging gracefully with confidence is something that is catching on and will be the new in thing. Botox, filler, plastic surgery that is made in a lab that is not really the person, the doctor did that for them so it means nothing they didn’t age well or with grace. It is a big decision and I am 47 now and choose to age with grace and excellent skin care, exfoliation and hydration that’s it. Morpheus8 is amazing it is micro needling with radio frequency the ONLY micro needling that actually works. Ulttherapy is amazing and tightness you décolleté, neck and face. Everyone is different and whatever works for them. I rather do the best with what I have then to be fake, I like natural. Confidence is being happy and doing the best with your mind, body and spirit, all the rest is just on top. Too many women are trying to chase after these young twenty year old tiktoker’s it’s crazy.

I 100% agree with you; I’m 68 and consider it a privilege to age as so many people do not get to age. I have seen mature ladies who have had so much filler that their lips look distorted or their eyes look strange. The same goes for too much plastic surgery. I try to minimize the damage that sun does to my skin by wearing sunscreen and using lots of moisturizer. I will also treat my skin to micro needling and I just had the most amazing hydration facial. Wrinkles are a fact of life and I’ve seen so many mature ladies with wrinkles who look gorgeous; they wear their confidence with pride. Having wrinkles does not mean you can’t have style.

@@carolscott9973 Good for you!! That is the right attitude. It made me unsubscribe from the sisters youtube as I don’t want that toxicity around me, her obsessing about appearance and what she didn’t like, it’s too much on tv and instagram, definitely don’t want it with my youtubers who I want to be relatable to me. I want to surround myself with strong confident women. I love Taren though and I hope she doesn’t destroy her looks with all that stuff, she is way too pretty.

The poor cabana 🫣🫣 Also, the Laguna is my favorite bronzer in every form! I wanted to love Physicians Formula but it always makes my skin itchy. I've been using Laguna for 10 years and swear by it. Also, the Laura Mercier blur is good for all over my fave but switched the Hourglass one and it's even more finely milled and works phenomenal!

I think that we are our own worst critic.
I understand what you’re saying and how you’re feeling.
I am 50 years old and it’s hard to see ourselves getting older. I have had a facelift and I dye my gray hair.
But like you pointed out not everyone gets to be older. I remind myself that the alternative to getting old is dying young, and we surely don’t want that. Also I remind myself that- it is what it is-
And that it could be better but it could also be worse. That’s helps me when I’m struggling.
Don’t worry, you really are beautiful :)

I do filler and Botox. I had a lot of anxiety and Im really happy with it. Get it if you want it but only if YOU want it. There are ways to do it slightly so only you notice and no one else. Botox also wears off so if you don't like it, it's gone in 3 months.
I think theres a stigma and it shouldn't matter either way. Theres no "prize" to those who get through life without it and likewise if you decide to do it ❤

Your skin is beautiful! Please don’t go down that road of filler and Botox. It will never end. It’s sad to me that we are made to feel we need to get rid of lines we got from laughing and smiling. It’s ironic really. Erasing evidence that we were happy.

I’m just a no one online, but I highly recommend trying an eyelash lift and tint. I know you are pretty open to trying new beauty services. Of all the beauty services I’ve tried over the years, it’s literally the one I would continue to choose if I could only choose one. I have super straight, short, light eyelashes…..not just straight, but they actually grown downward instead of up. I’ve tried curling, but it never works or lasts, and it’s a pain. And waterproof mascara is so hard to take off, and I usually don’t love the formulas. With the lash lift and tint there’s no more curling, and no more waterproof mascara. Best thing I ever tried. Highly recommend. I will say it does irritate my eyes slightly and occasionally will burn a tiny bit, but only during and immediately after the procedure. Nothing lasting or too unpleasant. And I only need to go back every 6 weeks or so, but I’ve been able to go 7-8 weeks if I had to. The only downside is just that you can’t get your eyelashes wet for 24-48 hours, so I have to plan around that.

Love this self care vlog. My skin is so sensitive and has gotten even more sensitive with age. I truly believe if it makes you feel good then do it, but don't do it just because it's what the other influencers do. I watch your videos and vlogs because you are not like everyone else, you are relatable and real. ❤

Thanks for being “real” Taren! I think you should do what’s going to make you happy. I tried lip filler three times and it didn’t last but a few days. I’m all for enhancing one’s beauty but not changing your looks. It’s sad that there are girls in their 20’s who get Botox, fillers and even veneers. It’s not relatable at all! Keep doing you ❤

Such a fun vlog! No vlog of yours is ever long- they always go by too fast lol! You were so cute shopping at Ulta oohing over all the new finds. It's always fun when you add a dash of Candice to the mix. The poor girl looked so tired on the way to the massage without her coffee. Whenever I see influencers older than 20s and seem flawless, I always assume they use filters/photoshop/botox/etc. Nobody looks perfect all the time. I love how you keep it real and let your natural confidence shine.

You don't need botox or filers or whatever. I hate that fake stuff. I think natural beauty is the best. I think people with botox and plastic surgery look 10 yrs older not younger lol. You have no kids so you don't have lines like some people your age with alot of kids. you and your sister look like you are both in your mid 20s. I'm 37 and a single mom of 2. I feel older and I've had people think i was 25 or 27 or 30 yrs old. I was like thanks. i don't like the influencer's that have botox, etc. Keep your natural beauty sweetheart. I just wanted to share a great product I found that works for me. O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream is very good at moisturizing your skin. Living in Minnesota, every winter my hands would get very dry and chapped (raw!) until Hubby found this cream. A small amount works wonders and it readily soaks into your skin without a greasy film. I put it on once a week to keep my hands supple. It's available at Target, Walgreens, CVS, Amazon, etc.

  • @Chelbsn
    @Chelbsn 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Taren, I totally get it. I will be 51 next month and while it is definitely a privilege to get older, it's also an odd process. Aging is weird. It's sometimes disconcerting to see skin thin or droop some. It's odd when features change and when I look in the mirror I don't always feel like I'm seeing the face I've known so well for all these years. On top of that, we live in a society that deems youth as beautiful. It's a constant mind game. Someday, I may get a little filler or maybe some lash extensions on the outter corners of my eyes. Nobody talks about the fact that not only does your skin change but the eyebrows and eyelashes thin some too. I never say never to cosmetic enhancements. I have not done anything to this point but some day I might just wake up and decide that that's what I want to do. Imo, live your best life. Do the things that make you feel happy and confident. Those things look different for different people and honestly, I don't think anyone is wrong for deciding whatever path it is she (or he) wants to take
