every year was very stressful because I had to work on our big day (24. eve), almost to the point where I was glad those days were over...cutting down working hours worked wonders and put me even in christmas mood this year...I decorated while listening to christmas music and already purchased whatever I need...now theres only the cooking and putting up the tree (which we never put up before the 23./24.)...and remembered that I brought home plumpudding ages ago from my visit to the UK and it was so delish...
We used to live a stone's throw away from Wentworth Garden Centre..Spent years walking around the village..It was always my hideaway from life's challanges..even though on my doorstep! You should try to go in the Spring..Wentworth House walking through the grounds with deers..🍦van and beauiful old church walk..heaped in history about the Earl of Wentworth House..There's a book called Diamonds..true life saga! THANKYOU SO OOO Much for Sharing 💕I'm not able to go back and you have just given me the Most PRECIOUS Christmas Gift..memories I keep close as Treasures now💕 Blessings 🙏xx
Im always done by november but i dont buy many gifts these days. I do make quite a few and do all my sewing, cooking and crafting in decemeber for gifts :)
It's fun to watch you going about some of my old haunts. I live in the US now but lived in Doncaster from age 11 to 25. Used to work at Meadowhall and visit Wentworth as a kid. Its 70f in Louisiana today. The moss is hanging from the oaks and I saw Pere Noel in his bateau pulled by alligators at a christmas fair this afternoon. So it was love,y to see Yrokshire this evening even though it makes me a little homesick. Also recommend the movie no sleep til Christmas, if you can get it (netflix)it was a giggle. Merry Crimble L
I'm very last minute. Lol but I havent got a huge amount of people to buy for. My daughter is my main priority and shes happy with a few stocking fillers but mainly she just wants money in a card.. unlike when they're tiny and you have to buy from Santa claus as well. Lol xxx
I’m always ahead of the game, all my cards and presents were done by the end of November! I love to relax during advent and enjoy the build up without the stress lol xx
It's a few years now my goal is to have it all done (purchased and if possible all wrapped) by first week of December. Reason being it takes the stress/anxiety away, more budget-friendly than last minute and I find it has me much more intentional towards the recipients. It works really well for me. Also I don't want to spend ages in malls and big stores (trying to find something and not having a clue what) since Covid. I start late September when the last bits of Indian Summer are gone. I enjoy seeing your Christmas decor and all your preps, thank you for sharing and all the extra work ! Have a lovely week !
Hi. 👋😊 Very nice THANK YOU for the nice video (Christmas markets are canceled in our country😒 At least that's how my eye pleased) for a walk and a great purchase.😊👍 I wish you a pleasant time with the book. I'm looking forward to another nice video and moments with you. Maťa from Slovakia🤗🔥☕🍪 Bye
Love this vlogmas! Wondering Kay ….Do you do a 2022 wish list / treasure map for yourself ? Kind a like resolutions… I do.. a yellow brick road one and label the months, and stick in the bits I hope to do each month. It is so nice to hear you everyday. Will miss this when it’s done. 🎄❤️❤️🎄
Your are such a lovely woman😍 and I just love your videos. Nothing is better than watching your videos with my British Shorthair girl on my side. Rory and Echo are amazing, hubby too.😂
Hi Kay I hope you are well today, thanks for sharing this video with us. I'm so looking forward to Christmas I can't wait. And your videos makes me feel happy.
Hi nice to c u this was a lovely video thank u for taking us with you to day really enjoyed it loved all the Christmas bits some lovely things loved you Xmas burner so sweet nice for u to c your family take care stay safe. Uk 🇬🇧🎄
I’m a last-minute Christmas shopper. It used to really stress me out, but I decided a couple of years ago that it was pointless getting in a tizzy about it. Now, I really enjoy the process and give myself permission to be fully festive, and you know what? It works! I’ve even remembered to get all the main, big stuff by the end of November. I don’t know whether acceptance frees up space in your mind, but it certainly seems that way. I think the wider availability of shopping online helps, too 😂
I am loving vlogmas, I’m going to be so sad when it’s over! I always forget to comment though 😂🤦🏻♀️ I’m definitely a last minute shopper. My Aunty would always collect items throughout the year and had a ‘present cupboard’ and that’s my goal in life haha Love that wax burner, so perfect and what a bargain!!
I love a nice mince pie at Christmas time. We treat ourselves to Walker's mince pies with Glenfiddich whiskey once a year. However, I have never even heard of brandy butter! As soon as you mentioned it, I looked it up at my local British shop where I buy all my U.K. "stuff" here in Canada and there it was. I have ordered some to pick up on Tues. so thank you so much for that!
Really enjoyed this video Kay! Thanks so much for taking me along! I too have just begun shopping ☺️ Like you, I have every I intention of starting early, then life gets in my way! Hello Dom, Echo & Rory! Looking forward to seeing on the next one! Love & hugs to you sweet Kay 🥰❤️❌⭕️🙋🏻♀️🎄🎁❄️
Hi, my husband is buying me your book for xmas and im so happy to delve into your book. I also ordered that xmas book by Milly Johnson on Amazon, i love a xmas read so thankyou for sharing ! Loving your xmas vlogs !
I’m really going to miss Vlogmas when it’s over. I really look forward to these videos everyday. Thank you so much for sharing the Xmas season with us. Also I ordered the sweater hot water bottle in grey so I’m glad you are loving yours! Also I just ordered the Xmas book you bought. It sounds like a good book and I’m way overdue for a fun holiday read so thank you for sharing this. Sending love from the US! ❤️
Thank you for taking us along on your lovely afternoon with your lovely mum. I love what you bought from the christmas market. Your videos are so lovely and cosy. Enjoy your mince pie and brandy butter. Love Julie X ❤ 😀
I so look forward to the end of the day and getting home from my business and watching your vlogmas videos! You've made it look easy and I know it's not it's a lot of work! Really love seeing your trips to the markets and just daily life! I'm just starting my shopping now and I do everything last minute work well under pressure! Usually the week before Christmas week is when I get it all done so I'm not super last minute and can focus more on the food and relaxing the week of! Especially since I own a retail shop and have to be working up until later on Christmas Eve!
I love singing in the car along to favourite tunes as well! Just like you, every year I want to start Christmas shopping early and I always fail! Also I have to read a happy Christmassy book at this time of year. I am currently reading White Christmas by Katie Flynn, which I borrowed from my local library. Love your videos.
I finished my Christmas shopping in August. Wrapped and labeled by September. I wanted to do it early so there was availability and room for delays. Knew this Christmas chaos was going to happen. Christmas is the same time every year...no reason to procrastinate...
Happy video Kay! Really enjoyed it. My cats are wire chewers so I have to keep all electrics out of their reach! I've got all my xmas shopping and wrapped it all too. So organised this year!! Looking forward to the next video. x
In the States those stores used to be called like "five & dime" meaning the things cost 5 cents - 10 cents. Then they became more of a "general store" and some towns still say that.
If you feel rain isn't very christmassy, imagine trying to muster some festive spirit on consecutive days with 33°C and a blazing sun, melting down in front a fan. It's impossible. Awful, I'd say. The poor men dressing up as Father Christmas... I'd take gloomy rainy Christmas every time!!!
Sam smith, Jennifer Hudson and oldies Ottis Redding are amazing to sing too.
Totally agree PJ’s and bra off after long day !! Cozy and comfy 🎄

I love shopping in the stores, but I can't do this always, so I enjoy they even more when I go to them. 😊
I always shop very early. This year I've started in October ! I'm french and in France people are shopping a lot a day before Christmas !

My favourite time of year too ! I love Christmas (probably due to fond childhood memories). Enjoy being with family ❤️🐾❤️🐾🎄🌏.

Liked your vlog today, interested to hear that your parents had a newsagents, as use to run a newsagents when we lived abroad, it's hard work.

Hello 😊
Team useless, AND I make presents rather than buy them D: Days leading up usually mean all-nighters
Hi I am useless 😂😂😂
