Your decorations and tree are really beautiful. I usually start decorating mid December but might get an early start this year. Need some cheering up and watching your vlogs is putting me in the xmas spirit! I dont have space for a tree, but I have tiny ones that I put on shelves with other decorations. I usually leave everything that's not too Christmassy until February, especially the lights as they make winter nights more bearable. Really loving your vlogsmas, thank you so much for sharing! :-)
Your home looks festive and cozy, cats so sweet. Suggestion....your real branched wreath will last longer outside rather then inside your home...will dry out quicker inside !! Cheers !

I loved your video. We currently have a narrow tall fake tree which is silver. In years past this would have filled me with horror but my 10kg Maine Coons tail was too damaging to a real tree and He would not stop nuzzling at the last real tree we had. This one looks nice against our white walls and has felt animal decorations, red baubles and vintage bits and bobs, so a real mix. One day they’ll look great on a real tree! Xx
The tree is gorgeous! I started using artificial trees once I got a cat. Not quite as magical, but still beautiful and I don't have to worry about my cats (I now have two) drinking the water in the tree stand.

hi Katherine i wonder how are you going to stop your cats from climbing the tree. I adopted two cats from shelter this summer. They are grate, bring. a lot into my life, but literally can walk on celling. So this year will be the first year with no tree. Im plannig sth insted of it. You both are wanderful people. Inspire me to many changes, like thinking seriously about living in countryside.
My cats are just like that, i mean one of them just climbs over anything, so the tree was doomed the first time we put it up around cats. Now i just let them be around us near the tree, but i usually close the living Room door when im not around. It also helps if you place a scratcher Somewhere in that Room of the house and sprinkle it with catnip!
