I'm listening to this on a more than 12 year old 4.1 Creative speakers setup ......and the Klipsch sound fn amazing on these. I'm definetly buying the klipsch.
Saw those at Costco. Need new speakers. My old ones are on their last leg. My old ones are Bose. They are 6 years old. I love them but didn't want to spend another $200 on a pair. The Klisch sound better than my Bose..

@jieimi2 is this really true about the lifespan. ive seen multiple people say "ive been using my old klipsch speakers for years and theyre still holding up" something along those line even people saying 10-15 years and 'still going strong"
@@AD-xn7pt There were multiple versions of these speakers. I remember the 1st gen being a more quality product compared to later years. Sadly I believe the weak link in the system is the amp. The lifespan I mentioned is what I experienced. Really can not beat these speakers.
LMBO! I'm checking out your review again and I'm dozing a little then your recording of the Promedia 2.1's comes on and I'm wide awake! What did you you use for a microphone to do the recording? It sounds phenomenal! I'm listening through some open back headphones and there's no lack for bass. I just came back to your review because it sounds more natural and cleaner than anyone elses of the Promedias. Nicely done.
These Speakers are a beast…but dayem!! Do I really need to get under my table to plug and unplug the power every time due to there’s no ON AND OFF Button on this product?
No. Just get one of those Christmas Tree remote foot switch and plug the speaker A/C cord into it. Put the foot switch under your desk (or on it to use your hand). LOL.
Looks like you have your camera setup in Mirror Mode, so all of the text is backwards for your viewers to watch. Pretty much everything is backwards on your video, lol. Anyway, the ports on the side of the volume control are there for 2 different purposes. One is an OUTPUT to allow you to plug in a headset which will bypass the speakers easily and give you audio directly to your headset. The other one is an INPUT to allow you to directly plug in any device that has a mini plug output like a CD Player, MP3 player, etc so that you can listen to your music through your speaker system instead of having to unplug the speakers from your PC and then plug them into your device. I have the same set of speakers and yes, they are awesome. Enjoy!!!!

Netflix most of movies comes with dolby surround sound but for hearing the effects you need a 5.1 system, with this 2.1 Promedia system you can get 2.1 stereo sound.
