I am at my wits end with this camera. I got it set up no problem but the nomenclature and different places for "settings are obtuse. i sent a message to manufacturer for a simple method to detect movement and record. I received back the usual broken English that made no sense. The first part of their response was to go to "me" and do a setting. That was fine. The next step said "in the app" and that and what followed was totally confusing. Is there some method of achieving what I want in a way that a fairly intelligent person can understand. Today is a windy day and I have been getting beeps every two minutes and I can not figure out how to stop the beeps. Also there is a substantial lag time for a notification when there is a true movement.
I got this unit but I'm having issue connecting with my phone or iPad. What is the ss id you was talking about in your video? Please I could use some input.
First, are you connecting via 4g? It will give you issues if your try and connect with 5g. The SSID is just the name of your network.... If you need more info, feel free to email me your questions... captainpaul@cox.net
Very cool product. I'm curious how its battery live will hold up or what happens if there's some cloudy days, of course, in Vegas that shouldn't be a problem. Nice video, Paul! Glad it looks like you're feeling better.
Actually, it is. One glitch is the built in security light failed, but otherwise still rolling along. As a side note, I'm filming a new review of a new gen Solium camera, and thus far there is some very interesting stuff. Stay tuned....
You can have up to 10 cameras on the app. Plus, you can have up to 10 different people (family or friend) able to install the app and monitor your cameras.
