- Naughty Niko strikes again! Niko is such a cheeky girl there’s always something! Thankfully it’s always fixable and never anything too serious but I’m sure one day I’ll regret typing that!!
So today she dug up the garden to get to an extra cool spot, she tried to blame Phil but it was clear who was the real culprit.
But in all fairness it was a hot day! Sometimes I wet the mud to make it extra cool for them as they refuse to lie on cooling mats and dog beds but then they get extremely dirty
Obviously Mia had to have a little feature in the video! I found this super cute swing on eBay and she absolutely loves it! Such a good little buy for the garden!

I do love your ‘decorating’! Everything in your house is colour toned and lovely fabrics etc. Even to Mia’s swing-seat! Looks like nice cream linen, with even the strap between her legs a darker tone of the same. No cheap nasty looking if ‘colourful’ things from Toys R Us for your swing!
Niko so cute. When you ask her what she did, she's like mom I just fixed the garden for you. Just the way you like it. I dug a hole for your next flower. The end is priceless. She's going mom buried my hole. I've got to dig another one.

My dog used to do this a lot in summer, we got him a kiddie pool to cool off and he absolutely loves it! No more digging and hiding from the sun, just plops himself down in the pool and he's happy for ages

My bunnies do something similar. On warm days they like to dig up a small hole under the trees at the end of the garden and lie in the cool dirt. They also like to occasionally try and dig under the shed. I always know when they have been having digging fun since there paws are covered in dirt afterward. It’s always adorable watching them do it. 🙂
