- The Fujica Flash AF is a viewfinder camera with autofocus. The 35mm camera is the successor of the Fujica Flash (Date). The camera was announced to Photokina 1978 by Fuji in response to the Konica C35 AF.
The Fujica Flash AF lens cannot be replaced. The lens has a focal length of 38 mm and a maximum aperture of f / 2.8 The lens is called “Fuji Photo Film Fujinon 1: 2.8 f = 38mm”.
An autofocus system was installed in the Fujica Flash AF for focusing the lens. An earlier version of the Visitronic Autofocus System was used. This was patented by the American company Honeywell in the mid-1970s. In 1977, it was used for the aforementioned Konica C35 AF.
