Yui has such great self control, it's clear to see that she is so emotional but refuses to give in to it....Moa is the other end of the scale....i love them both equally. And as for Su. She was born to be our Queen. Everyone loved her as much then as we all love her now.

That was fun again. Su's friend Ayami from Karen Girl's became the first student council president when Sakura Gakuin formed in April 2010. The various sub-units including BABYMETAL were formed during the next few months and they made their debut in November 2010,
After Ayami graduated in 2012 Su became the second student council president and I think it was Marina who gave Su the album and pen at the end who succeeded her - Moa was the fourth president after her.
Sakura Gakuin has continued for the last 10 years, each year the oldest girls graduate when they are 15 and younger new girls have transferred in ... just like a school, but SG is an Idol group it just has that school theme. The various sub-units continued but with new members as the older ones graduated - BABYMETAL was the exception and the only sub-unit that separated from SG, so Su continued on with BABYMETAL, Yui and Moa went with her but were still in SG for another two years until they also graduated.
Sakura Gakuin will finally end activities later this year (August I think?).

I think there was someone in between Ayami Muto and Su? They always gave it to one of the girls who was about to graduate.
@@Jordan-Ramses Could be, I'm no expert on SG but I think Ayami was president for the first 2 years as they didn't have any graduations after the first year and Su was the second president.
@@Grington300 - oh yeah you're right she was the second, i thought there was a girl in between. it makes sense to have no graduations in the first year, why have a girl join a brand new project if she's going to graduate in the first year? That wouldn't be fair to her.

Sorry if this has already been said...Moa is a special case when it comes to Su, especially back then. Moa is an only child (she's the only one between her, Su, and Yui that is), so she never had the benefit of older or younger siblings. Su quickly became a friend with her and Yui when SG formed in 2010 and they began BABYMETAL, which debuted in November of that year. More than that, Moa has always looked at Su as being an older sister figure, which is also nice for Su because she is the youngest of three sisters.
If you watch Su's graduation video from just after this one, you will see exactly how much Su means to Moa. Keep in mind that they did not know that BABYMETAL would continue after Su graduated, so Moa was going into this period of Su's graduation thinking she would never really see her again. You can really see in this video and the graduation video that her heart was breaking over the prospect of losing a sister.
Of course, we all know how it played out because we have the benefit of being in the future, but when this happened, absolutely nothing was guaranteed for them and they didn't know what was about to happen.
almost correct they knew Babymetal was to continue for several months, they had upcoming shows planned, however Moa's tears was because Su would not be part of SG anymore, she cried for every girl that graduated including herself and Yui, being an only child Moa places her friends above almost any thing else they are her sisters.

@@chrisharris1522 Fair point. I had heard that at the beginning of my being a fan several months back and believed it true. Of course, the first thing I did here and now was to go look up their shows in 2013, and absolutely, they had a few months left at the very least.

@@rajeevmenon769 That's a great point. I know I have friends who I am very much that way with, who I just feel better when I see them. And, of course, we basically consider each other brothers. So I totally get where Moa is coming from with that.
@@mr.osclasses5054 yeah I hate to be that guy but this one is pretty well known usually if someone says something and it’s harmless I let it go for example a lot of people believe Yui and Moa were childhood friends based on the video clips they see, but most of those were directed the two of them were put together a lot because they were the two smallest but if you look there are just as many photos of them with the other SG girls and when you do see the rare footage of them that really was behind the scenes Moa tended to hang out with the older girls, I am not saying they weren’t friends they spent a lot of time together I am just saying the fairy tale you see in the fan made compilations should be taken with a grain of salt
The girl that talks at the begin about Su being the leader (student council president) took over after Suzuka graduated, her name is Marina and she will release her new album next week. After Marina (my favorite ex SG member) graduated Moa took the spot of student council president. Su got the spot from Ayami who was together with her in Karen's Girls. Sadly Sakura Gakuin will end on the 31th August this year.
If you really want to see Moa cry you should watch the end of Su's graduation.
Marina is also my favorite, she just awesome and makes me smile every time I see her.
I like Ayaka ( i think that's her name, the tall girl that isn't Airi ), she's so beautiful. But my second favorite would be Ayami Muto she's so funny.

When paused wondering who took over as "leader" (president) you paused on the girl who took over. Lol Love this reaction. Now the 2010 nendo test is a must. You'll see who the leader was for the 2 years before SU was. Ayami Muto who was in Karen Girls with SU. But the nendo tests (starting with 2010 are a must watch. Keep these reactions up. 🥰

A bit of trivia; In 2012 Babymetal performed in Singapore at an Anime Festival.
No, Su was not picked for Babymetal because she was the Sakura Gakuin president. Su was "scouted" by the Amuse producer Kobametal when she was in Karen's Girls. When she joined Sakura Gakuin, Kobmetal created the Metal Club for his concept of metal music with Jpop, Babymetal. Nakamoto Suzuka's voice and Charisma is the foundation and why Babymetal works. Moa and Yui were chosen for their talent, size, and friendship with Su. Something else all these girls went to school everyday before performing in Sakura Gakuin and could not work past 8 pm.
The girl at 4:16 (Horiuchi Marina ) was the one who took over Sakura Gakuin presidency after Su's graduation.
The presidents from the first to the last one are:
Muto Ayami (2010-2011 Nendos)
Nakamoto Suzuka (2012 Nendo)
Horiuchi Marina (2013 Nendo)
Kikuchi Moa (2014 Nendo)
Isono Rinon (2015 Nendo)

Usually the members who are going to graduate, get a position in the student concil, and as Sakura Gakuin as a training facility/group to improve their talents, they give each one a title who will make them grow more in that Nendo (Year), like president, talk chairperson, performance chairperson, etc...
There's a lot more crying in videos of the 2013 and 2014 nendos like the Nakamoto graduation speech: th-cam.com/video/spd_wnXv2l8/w-d-xo.html and others that nowadays are hard to find.
There are also the "SUN - Sakura Gakuin" episodes, it's like their first TV show, and it's the very beggining, so you can see then younger :)
In the part where Su writes her name in the cover, they just figured out how to do it. The translation of さくら学院 (Sakura Gakuin) is Cherry Blossom Academy, as さくら the cherry tree and 学院 the Kanji for school, which is the whole theme for the group
The program is still going, but they are closing in August this year, with eight members (Started with eight, will end with eight ;-;)
- Su was Student Council President during her final year is SG (2013). Moa was also Student Council President for her and Yui's last year in 2015. One of the Avengers, Kano, was the most recent Student Council President (I think the most recent).
- BABYMETAL debuted in 2010, so they had already been around for two years at this point. BABYMETAL started to split off from SG in 2013 after Su's graduation, because you can't have BABYMETAL without Su considering she is the entire reason BM exists.
- Moa is known to be very emotional and cries all the time in their Sakura Gakuin stuff and plenty of BABYMETAL shows as well. She just wears her heart on her sleeve and that's why we love her. Just wait until you see Su's graduation video lol

Su was the only member of her senior class, and she graduated from Sakura Gakuin on March 31st 2013.
The group name isn't based on the members names.
At this point the first group of seniors had already graduated, and new girls had transferred in.

I just want to say how I have enjoyed your comments over the years. I went to your channel and loved your two videos - but found if I left click and loop the 6 second "Kawaii-Fi" video - I can't stop smiling and waving back.
Also, that wouldn't have worked during 2010 because there were only 8 and then 10 members in Sakura Gakuin, with the first group of a full dozen not happening until 2011. It does, however, work with every 12 member SG group. :D
I wouldn't say that Moa is the happiest one, but she's the most emotional one in general, and she is not afraid of showing her emotions.
Videos like this one always impress the hell out of me. These girls are so admirable, every single one of them. The way they combine cute, childlike innocence, an adult mental attitude, incredible passion, ambition and love for what they are doing (and each other), and great professionalism in the way they are doing it, is outstanding and feels very special to me. Their parents can be very proud of these kids!
But most of all I'm impressed by the bond between the girls. One might think they'd be like colleagues or maybe even rivals, but this shows how deeply they care for and rely on each other. These are real friendships of girls who have been through good and bad times together and are full of respect and love for each other. And despite what's commonly said about the Japanese, they are not trying to hide those emotions at all. I find that very touching.
Yes. Yes. And when their parents are the same gem stones in character and their relatives and the whole community they are living in, too, what prevents them/us from living in a real paradise? WHO made the rules, if not?
And as far as shedding tears...this is just the warm up for SU's graduation ceremony. And MOA is famous for her tears. Lol. She cried when they gave her a birthday cake during a promotion event.
And look at Su now, being approved as one of the greatest Metal Goddesses in modern era! What a journey!

Per your question about the name, Sakura Gakuin means "Cherry Blossom Academy," and it's only incidental that they were each able to use a letter from their names to spell it out.
Babymetal was created as a sub-unit of Sakura Gakuin, the whole concept is like a school and they have many "clubs" or sub-units, like Mini Patty or Babymetal, Babymetal was created in 2010 and their first performance was in TIF 2010. Actually, Sakura Gakuin still performing but on August 30 it will be closed, celebrating the ten years of Sakura Gakuin. And about the leaders, Suzuka was the "Council president" of 2012 and Moa was in 2014.
Su is loved all members of SAKURA GAKUIN.She is not so clever.But she is honest.and she love members.I love Su.

For the 2020-2021 school year, we would say class of 2021. Japan would say class of 2020 - they go from when the year started. So for Nendo 2012 , Su graduated in 2013.
Ayami Muto was the leader the two years before Su was. Ayami was one of the two other girls in Karen Girl's along with Su, where Su was discovered by Koba. Su was picked for Babymetal because of her voice and stage presence.
Learning more about Babymetal is learning more about Japanese culture. I think that's part of what makes it fun and really special. In one sense, a lot of what they're doing is pretty relatable (the idea of throwing a surprise appreciation party for someone who is leaving you) and having fun while doing that. But there's a whole different cultural sphere of thought behind it driving it all.
There's something about seeing that massive wall of handwritten Japanese text that looks like complete "chicken scratch", but you know contained within is a deeply heartfelt message intended to be read by another person who can also read said "chicken scratch". In a sense, it was only meant for them and their Japanese fans, but we get the opportunity to peer in through a window into their world (through the help of fan translators). It's really cool getting to live in such a time where the tools exist to be able to do that.
If you are feeling emotional right now wait til you react to the actual graduation ceremony for Su. That's what they're talking about actually there. And no, this was already 2-3 years after BABYMETAL was created. Su graduates in 2013 from Sakura Gakuin, followed by Yui & Moa in 2015. Su was indeed the president when she left but she wasn't the first president, that was Ayami Muto. Moa was actually president for her last year while Yui was sorta the "vice-president". Usually the older girls become presidents and then graduate.
Just remember that BABYMETAL is a sub-unit of Sakura Gakuin that was created the first year of the inception of Sakura Gakuin. So BABYMETAL is about as old as Sakura Gakuin is. Just remember 2010 for both SG & BM. The thing that people struggle to understand is that BABYMETAL is one of the MANY sub-units of SG but due to the success of that sub-unit it became its own entity outside of Sakura Gakuin. That's why when Su graduated in 2013 (and later on Yui & Moa in 2015) and left Sakura Gakuin, BABYMETAL stayed together as a band.
Remember SG is always around a dozen girls aged 10-15. Some leave and then new young ones arrive. That cycle sadly will end in August with the termination of Sakura Gakuin though. Su, Yui & Moa were all three part of the original (OG) lineup for SG. Yui & Moa were the youngest, that's why they stayed from 2010 til 2015 whilst Su, being 1 and a half year older, had left in 2013.
I noticed, after Ayami and Suu (who were respectively the oldest of the group when they were president), there's a sort of odd trend which nearly consistently has the second oldest member as president, with two exceptions since then being Rinon (who was youngest of the three graduates that year, but was in Sakura Gakuin before either of them), and Yuzumi (who was oldest). There's probably no real significance to it, but there it is. :D
I dont speak Japanese but " Sakura Gakuin" loosely translates to Cherry Blossom Academy. If I am wrong I will quickly be corrected lol. Ok now I see someone beat me to it . So I will just admire how hard Yui fought back those tears and Moa is always like Niagara Falls. :)
Babymetal was a sub unit of Sakura Gakuin, a school themed idol group. In schools, middle school through university, it is common for schools to have a glee club, but they all it a light music club, the keion-bu, or just K-On!
Babymetal was the Heavy Music Club, or Juon-bu, the J-On! in the school theme. Counter culture from the start.
Looking back to see Yui and especially Moa saying goodbye with this and their graduation, not realizing they'd be spending YEARS more together is wild. Moa was so sad to see her go and clearly so happy to still be together with her now.
The more SG you watch the more you'll see that Moa is always crying. Try to remember though that Babymetal was a sub unit of SG, and was created in 2010 until Su's graduation in 2013 (2012 nendo) and then they became an independent group. Moa and Yui graduated in 2015 (2014 nendo). Moa was the president that year.

From 2010 - 2012 Ayami Muto was the first counsil student president (leader), after that every year they name a new counsil president. Su was the 2nd student council president in 2012, then in 2013 Marina Horiuchi was named the 3rd student council president, and in 2014 Moa was the 4th student president, and in 2019 Kano (Avenger) was named the 9th student counsil president

Also don't get confused. Sakura Gakuin was formed in 2010. BABYMETAL was also formed in 2010 as a sub unit (Heavy Metal Club) of SG. SG has other sub units like Minipati, Twinkle stars etc... Until 2012 BABYMETAL singles were released as part of SG. From 2013, BABYMETAL became an independent act following Su's Graduation. Yui and Moa was part of SG till 2015.

I've seen this video over a hundred times and I NEVER get tired of it. I STILL cry to this day. I guess everyone here already "corrected" and informed you of some of the history and aspects if Sakura Gakuin. So I'll just add this: Don't stop watching Sakura Gakuin videos!

I am an old geezer - who still find tears in my eyes every time I watch this or any of the SG graduation videos - of these girls on the other side of the world - who speak a language I don't know (but found myself learning their alphabets and some of their words because of them) who bring joy and respect and tears - and I didn't even cry at my own graduation.
see .... now you know why we love Su , Yui and Moa so much and sometimes we act overprotective to these girls.
that's why when someone venture out from BABYMETAL to deep deep inside Sakura Gakuin you will eventually have those feeling too and for anybody who want to bring down Babymetal have to think many times.

Here SU was going to graduate soon, so it was her last year with Sakura Gakuin. Cause that is everything more emotional. Later Babymetal was detached from a Sakura's subunit to a full fledged project.
6:00 A young Hinata Satou. She was picked later on to play in the LoveLive franchise and other stuff for Amuse, and still does. How I understand it works, in this case Amuse is a talent agency which owns in Japan music labels, produces movies, anime and TV, and manage the careers of singers and actors. Once these girls can access to the actors school and start doing casting competitions eventually become employees of one of these companies, otherwise is much more complicated to become someone in the entertainment industry in Japan.
Su was already chosen to front Babymetal before Sakura Gakuin existed. Back in 2008 their producer Koba saw her performing in the farewell concert for Karen Girls and thought she should front an Idol-Metal fusion group that he'd been thinking about. But he had other ideas too. He might never have done an Idol-Metal fusion if not for Su. People say that Babymetal came from SG and i don't think that is true. I think Babymetal had been planned before SG was being planned. In my opinion it really came from Karen Girls. But either way it was it's own thing. The SG subunit was just a convenience.
Su was not the original 'student council president' of Sakura Gakuin that was Ayami Muto who was also with her in Karen Girls. When they did the 'friends' thing with Sakura Gakuin they paired all the girls off. Yui and Moa were together. Su and Ayami were together. According to Ayami they were close friends for real. The Sakura Gakuin stuff is all show business of course. Ayami is 2 years older and graduated from SG in 2011. But Ayami is a tiny girl even by Japanese standards and Su got her growth young and was the youngest in her family and was always acting older so they weren't a bad match. If you didn't know better it would be easy to think they were the same age.
A couple of corrections.
The Karen Girl’s farewell concert was in 2009.
Ayami graduated from Sakura Gakuin in March of 2012.
I definitely agree that Koba had the Suzuka based Metal project in mind before Sakura Gakuin began.

@@rickwagner- - i'm probably more used to that because i'm a big sports fan. football and basketball seasons start in one calendar year and end in another but it's just too inconvient to say 'the 2012-2013 season' instead of just 2012.

@@jason7120 Is not about "being respected" or not, we all know they were so good even after Su, Moa and Yui left the show, but in order to get the first approach and get to know a little more about the group and each member is wise to know them in their early days, personally i wouldn't reccommended this vid to react because is 2012 material and skipped 2 years before with a lot of material to watch when Ayami or Ayaka was there, plus they get confused and mess up many things like we saw on this vid. Since Yui and Moa graduated, I have followed Sakura Gakuin even more enthusiastically, so you don't know how much respect and affection I have for all generations. Doki Doki Morning, Iine, and Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! all debuted on Sakura Gakuin albums! BABYMETAL official separated from Sakura Gakuin in 2013. Even when Suzuka graduated in March 2013 aka Nendo 2012, Moa and Yui REMAINED IN SAKURA GAKUIN!
Only senior members can become President the first president Ayami Muto being the only exception. Suzuka was SGs second President and after she graduated Marina Horiuchi took over as President of Sakura Gakuin for Nendo 2013. Nendo 2014 President was Moa Kikuchi AS IN MOAMETAL. Nendo 2015 President was Rinon Isono, Nendo 2016 President was Sara Kurashima, Nendo 2017 President was Aiko Yamaide, Nendo 2018 President was Yuzumi Shintani, Nendo 2019 President was Kano Fujihara (THE AVENGER) Nendo 2020 President is currently Kokona Nonaka. Sakura Gakuin will sadly end on August 31, 2021.

She is an extremely charismatic and talented girl. A incredible actor, she had zero singing or dancing skills going into SG but she is amazing in both. She goes by many names, Koko, Koko-chan, Kokonassu, Nassu, and Kokonatsu, she also plays a boy character named Natsuo (I think that's the spelling) she is a little loud and crazy but a leader and a true joy to watch

Sakura Gakuin started in 2010, there are two years of a bunch of material to watch with Su, Moa and Yui in there of course but even more kawaii UwU And Babymetal by the time they did this surprise already got the public attention (mine included) and some singles out there (i only knew Doki Doki Morning and later i lost their track) So no, they didn't offered a lead place in Babymetal group after that reunion because Babymetal already existed since long time ago, but what did happened is after Su's graduation she was offered to continue with Babymetal project outside of SG shows, same thing for Yui and Moa after leaving the show.
The moment you pause the vid you spot the next Council President, Marina Horiuchi, she was known by her wild random fly arms and hands o_O a sign that makes her weird but really cute at the same time because she got a bright smile as well as one of the best voice in the group after Suzuka and Ayami Muto (ex Karen's Girl and Suzuka partner), she's still in the entertainment bussiness, she release a personal YT channel last year, and now she's about to release a new CD album, i think is her first album.

That´s a party for Su s graduation. When she had to leave Sakura Gakuin because she became too old. At the same time Amuse took Babymetal out from Sakura Gakuin and created it as an independent band which includes producing their first album. Also Sakura Gakuin has a school president each year. In her last year Su was the president. Like Moa in her last year. Since Sakura Gakuin also did some skriped reality videos that tell a Japanese school class the president also has some more duties. Sakura Gakuin still continues. It is actually some kind of school for actors, singers, dancers and models for Japanese largest talent agency Amuse which is olso registered at the stock marked in Tokyo.
Not criticizing you two at all.. love your reactions. It’s just funny to me that the next SG president was on the screen when you were asking who took over after Su.
Sakura Gakuin (さくら学院) translates to Cherry Blossom Academy (hence the cherry blossom branch in their logo). If you'd ask people in Japan what the first thing is when think of spring, the majority would probably say "Sakura" (cherry blossoms). When the buds on the cherry trees start to come out, it's a sign that winter is about to be over. Cherry blossoms are also always a sign of a school year ending and beginning, because a nendo (school year) in Japan is from April to March, which also explains your first question why the video was shot in January 2013, even though it says "nendo 2012". And when you think about it, it's not that much of a surprise all the letters in these two words are somewhere in the names of the members 😉.
Not every girl in this video is still in entertainment. The girl who talks at 3 min into your video, Yunano Notsu (or Honjyou as she's known now) isn't in the business anymore after her career as a model didn't take off. The girl who talks immediately after her at around 3:15 min, Nene Sugisaki, quit entertainment to become a nurse. Rumors say it was, amongst other things, because of the 2013 nendo and the various difficulties and arguments the four who stand in the front to gather ideas had. They are Marina Horiuchi (she starrs in a children's program and revived her singing career a few months back), Raura Iida (who does theater and stuff like that lately), Hinata Satou (she's a voice actress, her biggest role to date was in Love Live) and Nene Sugisaki. They were the ones who became seniors and the student council after Su's graduation, with Marina at the helm of it as president (controversely to some of the other three I might say). Another girl not in entertainment anymore is Rinon Isono, she sits on the far left in the back row when they gather their ideas and talks about her page of the album at around 9:50 min.
Moa is always the first to show her emotions. Regardless of if it's laughing or crying. She once said "let's promise not to cry at graduation"... and was the first to break out in tears a few minutes in.
In addition to being her senior in both SG and BabyMetal, Moa had (has) a big sister relationship with Suzuka. Moa is an only child in her family.

From what I've seen when it comes to talent scouting of girls Amuse doesn't mess around (I don't know much about a boys situation, they have the band One Ok Rock for example, but they were just helped mostly similar to a record company might develop an artist).
Let's take Moa is an example: "Moa signed with the talent agency Amusic Inc. at the age of 8 when she won the Semi-Gran Prix in the Ciao Girl Audition of 2007 held by Amuse. The audition had more than 10.000 children participating in the big event."
Their had to be something promising about her to do that ! :-)
And Sakura Gakuin is their best talented girls put together in a talent development group.

The "leader" is more like a student council president. I don't know who took over directly after Su graduated, but Moa held that position as well.
Babymetal was the metal club in Sakura Gakuin pretty much from the start, and played their first song, Doki Doki Morning, in November of 2010 at Sakura Gakuin's first show.

Su was not very social, and her classmates and Ms. Mori were worried that she would not be a good leader. However, she has grown up wonderfully in one year. She has become a much-loved leader.
And the old adage proves true once again: Great leaders don't want to lead, and often even actively avoid it.; They either can't help but inspire others to follow , or are simply forced to by people who recognize that fact. :)
Sakura = cherry blossom and Gakuin = institution. I think they managed to find one letter from those two words somewhere in everyone's name (Su had the 'K' and wrote her surname naKamoto). I think the most kawaii moment was when everyone was waiting neatly in formation for Su to arrive except for Moa and Yui who decided to hide behind the door and leap out screaming and chase her down the corridor laughing wildly before skipping back with Su between them. 🦊🤘💖🦊
This shows how much Su was loved by her "classmates". And you can see a very rare thing: Su shedding a tear 23:16 (after Nene Sugisaki spoke. I call it Nene-Power). By the way, Nene isn't in the showbiz, cuz she decided to be a nurse like her mother. Best scene though is Yui and Moa lurking at the door. Furthermore, Babymetal actually started in 2010! It was a SG subunit, so BM was not AFTER SG but went parallel. Due to the popularity of BM, it continued seperately after the graduation of Su, Moa and Yui. As for graduation: when reachin the age of 15 the girls graduate and new ones who are normally 10, enter SG.
Another rare thing in the video: Even getting so much as a sniffle from Rinon, trying not to tear up while reading her message to Su.

I was tearing up before the video even started because I knew what was coming! The girls always try to predict who will cry first, Nene or Moa. It's always a close contest. Rinon is the hardest to cry but she was really close here. Marina is a tough soldier too. I know Su would never part with that photo album but I would pay big bucks for it if I could buy it! Su was the class president because she was the only one to graduate that year but Mariri decided at the last moment to graduate too. (they I think, commuted from Hiroshima together that last year) You can see all the love for Su in this video, it's so heart warming!
Some great SG stuff to check out next would be the Nendo Tests (there's a video with all the ones from 2010-2014 with English Subs on YT), and they're hilarious, especially the ones with Su in them! I would also suggest the goodbye speeches from the graduations, (there's an edited one with Moa, but it's kinda melodramatic and I think takes away from the moment in context). Anyway, glad you're continuing your dive into Babymetal and Sakura Gakuin!
Can you guys imagine how much that album they created would go for if Su ever gave it up? Not that I would ever want her to. I hope she keeps it because that part of her life is so important to who she is today, but Just saying I bet it would be worth a pretty penny!

I totally get why you wouldn't expect Moa to cry, but she's the biggest crybaby of them all. She even cries on stage a lot when she's moved by the crowd. Eg: the Road of Resistance call and response at Tokyo Dome

I'm a "writer" (mostly commercial, copywriter) so this is nothing to type out for me.
I understand your comment about showbiz being "tough". Time often trump's fame as far as personal growth and self awareness.
For example:
Many people cherish "free" or unregulated time schedules and would not even want to be touring all the time- less reading, watching, keeping up with events in detail, learning varied stuff, maintaining relationships, sewing, preparing and cooking foods (cooking a meal can take hours cutting up fresh ingredients, learning new recipes, experimenting shopping etcetera), intercourse with folks on equal setting- the list is endless.
People will want to live their best lives generally.
Me, I treasure time more than anything- but I am entitled (always had needs taken care of and wants eventually earned or given) I must mention.
We should almost feel pity for the celebrities; also many celebrities will come out and honestly tell you that it can be a pain and life experience limiting circumstance.
It also can be addicting and emotionally destructive when fame fades or something happens embarrassing them. A regular person no one cares if they did a scandal for instance.
So sad. I have a short clip recently acquired absolutely showing brace (of course under costume in back) on Yui during last show or one of last shows. Photos can lie (digital manipulation) but clips?
I and many others were unsure in spite of reason certainly cited by Amuse until recently about Yui's status but the evidence is (almost) overwhelming at this point if one includes the time passed (~three years), the clip I recently acquired and observations from dozens of watchers (swollen face due to medication, more careful less exuberant movements etcetera).
The biggest obstacle to me understanding Yui's status has been my impression of Su's and Moa's whatever toward Yui's departure (no comment beyond how it affected them, no outward expressions or sadness _for Yui_ per sey- only recent interviews have given tiny bits of remarks by them) and Amuse's total disregard of Yui's contribution during 10 year anniversary celebration.
I think as far as that it was the disconnect between my paradigm of cultural norms and the Japanese one that caused me to doubt as far as those factors.
Nevertheless, it is weird there are no recent pics lately. As far as that maybe Yui absolutely wants her privacy, Yui is gone somehow (moved somewhere isolated, married with kids already, "gone"- crazy insane but where is she?) or Amuse is biding their time having no other recourse.
I must say I'm not absolutely sure (I don't want to be sued) and this whole comment is just _my opinion so far._
Finally, I haven't actually searched or reached out proactively to gather whatever info I've acquired so far, just three years of still enjoying the band and here and there picking up this information.
Sakura Gakuin was formed in early 2010. At the time it consisted of Ayami Muto (one of Su's fellow Keren Girl's) as the first class president, along with Ayaka Miyoshi, Airi Matsui, Suzuka Nakamoto, Marina Horiuchi, Nene Sugisaki, Raura Iida, and Hinata Sato. A few months later Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi were added and then BabyMetal was formed. In 2011, Rinon Isono and Hana Taguchi were added to Sakura Gakuin. In early 2012, Ayami, Ayaka, and Airi graduated and were replaced by Yunano Notsu, Mariri Sugimoto, and Saki Ooga to complete the group in this video. There are so many Sakura Gakuin videos out there that will make you laugh and cry. Many of them take place well beyond the time of BabyMetal's involvement but are still worth watching. BabyMetal Avengers Momoko Isoroku and Kano Fujihira are in many of them.

I think Moa cried, because she thought with Su's graduation her time with Babymetal was over and they won't perform together any longer. But as we all know, Babymetal continued seperately from SG.

Actually, Suzuka is a bit of a euh... in-her-own-mind. So many thought she wouldn't be a good leader. A bunch from the grade behind her thought they might be picked as a leader instead.
