Drinking is just short of encouraged and the most I've ever paid to play a round on a course was $10 for the weekend for a course that holds the level of prestige in disc golf as Augusta does in ball golf. Literally the disc golf hall of fame course. And even then, I was just doing the right thing. I couldve easily pulled up and just played and the odds of anyone saying anything at all would be miniscule.
When you have to be strategic is when the courses put those colored bands on their beverage cans. That's when you buy a couple from the bar/bev cart, and shotgun your bag beers on the tee box for fast dunnage disposal.

My father lived on one of those golf course communities in the South. Elegant community: 1M+ homes, big ass reservoir, etc. He kept a refrigerator full on his patio year round. Honor system. No issues with theft and it all paid for itself.
I've never once had my bad checked and if I ever did I'm not going back there. Edit: For people getting pissy, I don't drink on the course. I rarely drink in general. Its the principle. Treat me like a child and I'll spend my adult money elsewhere.
Falcons fire in Orlando will. Will never go back there again. They literally opened our bags to look. This was about 2 years ago so hopefully new management.

If they have a clearly stated policy put in place that allows them to check for outside food or drink then they have notified the customers who voluntarily subject themselves by proceeding. It’s a private business, they can enforce policies. The fourth amendment applies to government entities. If the customer refuses, then the business can trespass them. There’s a reason 1a and 4a auditors always go to public and government places and not private companies.
Then they're more than happy to not take your money. They'd rather keep their liquor license and customers who pay for their drinks than have the likes of you on the course.

Same as everyone else. We all bring our own on the course, never been checked, never would return if I was. And I still buy plenty from the cart girl 👌
