    Thanks for a very clear (and music-free!), straight to the point demo.

    As a landscape photographer and a filter user, I've been searching on the market for a rain cover that protects as well my filter system and can't find anything, it's amazing how no one ever thought about this.

      @@ThinkTankPhoto feedback from me... can you design a cover that can accommodate the Pocket Wizard trigger attached to the camera hot shoe? Almost every single photographer that shoot for any newspaper or news agency use Pocket Wizards to trigger remote cameras. I shoot 2-3 outdoor sporting events every week, whole year around, very often in the rain. I have found a cover called Storm Jacket which is wide enough to fit my D3s with PW attached to it. It's cheap, not the best quality, but it does the job. Problem is I need a cover for the cameras I have in my hands. When shooting with primes I can hold PW in my left hand, fire the remote and use right hand to fire the camera. It's not ideal solution. When shooting zooms the only way to use PW is to attach it via cable to the camera and hide it somewhere under the cover. Last time I wrapped the PZ with the front element cover and put it the small pocket at the top of the rain cover (I'm using hydrofobia v2.0). Anyway, the only solution on the market I found that might work is Aquatech Rain Cover with SS Flach cover attached to it. I hope you can come up with something better.

    looks good, I like it for the camera, but what's everyone doing to keep their hands dry?

    Are these still being made? Almost impossible to find one, my older 70-200 has had it, and love the 300-600 V3 for my big lens.

    Dear ThinkThankPhoto Team, I am really excited about these Hydrophobia Rain Covers. Anyway, I am not sure whether there is an Eyepiece available for my Panasonic S1H. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Hi i have an 100-400 GM with the a7Riii, which cover is the correct for this setup?

      The 30 V2.0 should fit, these are the internal dimensions - 7.3” W x 11.3-14.3" H x 5” D

    Is there enough space in the cover to operate the zoom ring with the left hand?

    • @duanewilliams5952
      @duanewilliams5952 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is plenty of room. I use the 70-200 for sports photography, so I am constantly operating the zoom ring when I photograph.

    Will the dslr version fit a phase one medium format camera?

    • @ThinkTankCustSvc
      @ThinkTankCustSvc 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Charles. Unfortunately the Hydrophobias are more of our specific fitment cases, as they need a custom eyepiece, which extend out further from the body. This eye piece is necessary to attach the Hydrophobia's back end. For cameras that we haven't made a custom eye piece for you will have to go with our more general rain covers, which are our Emergency Rain cover collection. Please note that you will choose your rain cover not only on length of body and lens, but also the diameter of your hood. www.thinktankphoto.com/collections/camera-rain-covers/products/emergency-rain-cover-medium

    Will water get in if the eye piece is not use ?

    • @SimonPollock
      @SimonPollock 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jérôme Jheelan yes it could. Likely won’t unless rain is coming in sideways, but yes it could. We built them to work with the eyepiece to maintain that absolute waterproof state.

    Someday someone will make a cover that is actually designed with zoom lenses in mind. The covers really could use some more room so you can get your hands on the rings. The Med. size cover should really cover lens up to say like the 200-500 or the 150-600. The med. cover is too small and the large is too large. Someone botched the research on that. Also i really don't know why that use the materials they use. All we're looking for is something to keep rain, maybe blowing sand off our equipment. It doesn't need to be thick or tough. The cover just sits there.

      The Hydrophobias have a specific opening for lens access, the material is light-weight and free flowing, so I'm a bit confused by your comment. Anyway, please feel free to go to a shop and try them on your camera and see what you think.

      @@ThinkTankPhoto Sorry this was my mistake. My comment was referring to the Emergency Rain Covers not the Hydrophobias. I bought one of the medium ERC to use with my 70-200. But returned it when I realized that there wasn't going to be near enough room to get to the zoom ring or mount the camera and lens on a tripod. The large ERC will at least let me mount on a tripod. But I'm afraid that the end where the lens protrude will be so large that there will be a problem with getting it to fit tight around the 70-200 lens hood. IF the large ERC will fit the hood on a 600 f4 lens then fitting correctly on a 70-200 hood is probably not going to happen. I would think that there are far more 70-200, 200-400, 200-500, 150-600 lens out there than large primes. I guess my question would be. Why didn't you design the medium ERC to fit and work well with the 70-200 and all those super tele zooms? Right now you've got a medium that really won't work with 70-200 unless you going to hand hold it. And even then, there is hardly enough room to operate the zoom ring. Then you have the large, a giant one that will fit a large prime like a 600f4. Don't understand the Think Tanks logic on this issue. But, I do love your products, have many of them?
