Finally some videos of a legit process. Other tubers only talk about these practices. Questions for you: Property located in what state? Why do you wait until early July rather than April? What compost makes up your 20%? Thank you.
What’s up John. We’re located in south Florida. We do our lawns in july because our clients are in town usually from April -may. We like to wait until there gone so they don’t have to look at it. Which is why we usually do it around July. It’s an 80-20 mix 80% sand 20% peat.(peat is an organic matter) which we use to top dress the lawn after its fully aerated and verticut. I hope I answered all your questions.
How are those tru Cuts working out for you I been interested in buying the 27inch and starting a turf Bermuda here in NC this season looking forward to the project!
We use real mowers to scalp it low first. If you watch the whole video you’ll see the verticutting is after the scalp. Then Followed by aeration fertilize top dress. 👍
@@EXTREMEGARDENS_ In your video you do point out one of the reel mower as a verticutter, no biggie, but you're both correct. The verticutter is used after the first scalps are done, but before the aeration. All good!
This is the right way to manage zoysia. So well done.
Thank you

Look at those pavers. Hot damn palm beach has the best pavers
Great vid. How long does it take to return to green
Hey Marlon. It takes about 1-2 months for us to see a complete recovery. With good irrigation and maintaining the pest, it’s green in no time.

Amazing machines. Just sharpen them when needed and your good to go.
@@EXTREMEGARDENS_ is verticutting just using a front throw mower
Do you have any info on where to get Diamond Zoysia in PB? Impossible to find not wholesale.
what height you set the mowers to?
Just Gradually keep setting it lower after each pass
Very good video…
Thank you !
What type of herbicide you used in the video?
@@glyzx it’s called pre weed emergent. Used to sterilize the weed seeds in a lawn so they don’t sprout. Will not work on existing weeds.
Any videos of the recovery?
No but that is a good idea! I will take a video of what it looks like tomorrow and post! Stay tuned 😎
Just posted!

Weeds will still emerge but significantly less
@@EXTREMEGARDENS_ Do you use any post emergent?
@@TheBmarquez we just use herbicides when they pop up. Gotta be careful though especially in the warmer temps not to burn(setback) the lawn.
All those staff and machines but no top dresser!!
I know!!! We are definitely grabbing a couple for next season 😆

Those are reel mowers, not verticutters. So just scalping, fertilize, then top dress.
