      Enjoyed the tour. Always good to see what other studios have to work with. The list of equipment used is also very helpful. Thanks for sharing and also for putting up so many great videos. This is one of my favorite sites to visit.

    You've got style my friend ! You rarely see home studios that are this neat and organised, but yours is really stylish too ! It's gotta be inspiring to open that door and go work in there ! Happy for you ! Congrats on the growing success of your channel; well deserved !

      Pop JustSick haha,every studio starts out neat and clean. Mine included. But now it is a bunch of mess

    • @chrissullins3
      @chrissullins3 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the default home studio might be closer to mine with a treadmill, weights, craft table, and sewing machine nearby. BTW, pink gym mats leaning along the wall help absorb sound from the guitar, but doesn't help with all the other stuff in the room that rattles. And, let's not forget the dog dishes right outside the room so you can hear the dog lapping up water or crunching food.

    The only thing you are missing is a mini fridge and a microwave. Get an infinite supply of coke and hot pockets and you will never need leave your studio again.

    Nice acoustic treatment
    Very clean looking

  • @AdamSpade
    @AdamSpade 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just an FYI: The acoustic foam is okay for certain things. I use it in the live room for recording vocals, acoustic guitar etc. but the foam does nothing for the low frequencies. So for the mixing room, you want to use something like Roxul 60/80 to get the low end under control.

    I think it is awesome that PRS have looked after you. They make amazing guitars, and the fact that they have endorsed you says a lot about your abilities and their faith in you. Thank you PRS if you ever see this. You help keep the talent going.

    Those lights look reflective, along with picture frames, they will not act as bass traps, but instead amplify the stacking resonance of over exaggerated frequencies. You should consider removing them, and the frames. Look into diffusers instead.

  • @BruceDoesStuff
    @BruceDoesStuff 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you not have that gorgeous new semi-hollow PRS on the wall anywhere? Also, I'm surprised you don't appear to have a baritone of any sort...

  • @JEAG
    @JEAG 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your studio is amazing man.
    I would recommend one thing to you though; study a bit of acoustics and invest a bit in acoustic treatment. I know you don't have it completely figured out just by watching the video and also know that you'll realize how different that place sounds with good treatment beyond that foam.

    As someone that can't afford this kind of home studio space and money wise, I congratulate you, really living the dream sir!
    I need to cut some gear (using too much space) and can't play at loud volumes at house (don't want to do acoustic treatment), therefore I'm really thinking of getting a Kemper head and some pluggins to go with my laptop, less space with guitar and bass amps, pedals and pedalboards (since the Kemper have effects and bass and guitar amp profiles), not a gigging musician and I don't own valve amps (expensive in my country), what you think? Any alternative to the Kemper (right now I own some pedals and small amp)?

    Hello Tyler and greetings from TX! Awesome look at your home base, thanks for posting. I was hoping you may provide a little insight on my home project as I finally have a dedicated guitar studio (a converted bedroom). I do not record; it’s a practice space and a place for me to live out my guitar dreams with backing tracks and the album playbacks of my favorite bands. My main question is: how would you set up your audio speakers vs. your amp in order to make the blend as seamless as possible? All together? Speakers on one side of the room and amp on the other? Any help is much appreciated as I feel like I am constantly struggling to integrate both sides of my jamming equation! Thx!!
