Really enjoyed the video with Rick ! Was able to tag along with him on a trip to Belgium and Holland . He really knew how to scoot around to all the lofts and seemed to know everyone!
Jeff, your interviews are FANTASTIC! Thank you!! Question: it looks like you've won some really good races, you have some fantastic bloodlines, why don't you sell birds?
What a wonderful conversation with an old friend! I share a lot of memories in Belgium with Rick and feel exactly the same way about the experience! Outstanding!!!
Hi Jeff thanks for the great interviews. Could you please make a video and explain why fanciers in the states pull the nineth and tenth feathers of the young birds. This technique is not practised in Ireland. Thanks Jeff
We fly young birds in september, october, november. In order for our pigeons to have all their flights for the races, we pull the 9th and 10th in june or july so they have time to grow in. If you do not pull them you risk your pigeons not having a 9th or 10th flight on the longer race due to the moult
@@lambertonracingpigeons He's lived a full pigeon life, done things I used to dream of as a kid. I appreciate the questions you asked to guide the interview. I'd love to see more like this. Also I'm jealous of your VHS videos that I didn't know were even a thing 😁. Having your dad in the hobby goes a long ways to getting nice obscure gems like those. LOVED hearing about Van Dyck & Kannibaal. That bird is in so many pedigrees that it's hard to find a bird he's not related to. Enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Awesome Video !! Thank you for sharing knowledge I got a pair from Steve CBS
Fantastic. Thanks Jeff and Rick.
