Ah, the suspense before the cut!! I almost cheered out loud when I saw the results. They are absolutely darling. But, dear Karen, your comments on your favorite Christmas brought back so many wonderful memories. I'm 75 now and can remember some pretty meager Christmas pasts that were the best memories of all. Also, when you talked about the homeless, I felt such gratitude for all that I have been blessed with. Today, I'm off to Costco to purchase as many cases of food I can afford to take to our nearest food bank. Thank you so much for touching my heart.
Your Santa turned out SO cute. You really did a great job on him. Christmas is always a wonderful memory especially for kids. Thank you SO much for joining in on this collaboration. Take care and have a wonderful week.
I know you didn't really enjoy doing this scraper soap but it does look fantastic, you did an excellent job of a very cute 🎅 Santa memory soap. We too were a poor family and Christmas was a super special day of the year and Boxing day was a wonderful day of leftovers from the day before. I love the Christmas song you played while cutting the soap, I've not heard it before
They were brilliant, I'm so pleased they came out so well, especially as you were clearly getting a bit fed up halfway through. Part of me wanted you to do wonky odd eyes though as a bit of a drunken Santa :-)
I totally lack your creative spirit and so could never make anything as fabulous as these. I kept saying, "Why is she doing that? Why is she putting that there, and What's that going to be on top?" haha I totally lack vision...and your phenomenal patience. These are absolutely adorable.
Karen I am so proud of you; for your santa clause soap. Let me tell you girl, you nailed it. I know you were so tired, as you said; but it was all worth it in the end. GREAT JOB!!/😀.
It's Christmas Eve 2022 and my husband and just watched this great video. We found ourselves rooting for you through the whole process. We were stressed along with you and when the cutting finally came we were just delighted as delighted with the results, if not more, than you were. I commented to him that I took my hat off to you and all the soapers that take on these challenges, and shortly after, you said that you took your hat off to your fellow soapers. I'm just getting back to soaping after 15 years, it's so much funner now. Thank you so much for sharing, Cheers 💕
I agree I have done some scraped soap and I am not keen on having extra soap since I have so much already. I love others creations and my hat is off to them. Your Santa is adorable!!
Excellent excellent Santa soap, Karen, even though there was some stress, ya pulled it off brilliantly. I'll be home alone for Christmas but God will be here with me. 💖 Love and hugz, Tree
Another brilliant soap, you wonderful, inspiring lady!! Much love from USA,GA this holiday season! I'm sorry your mom has chosen to be alone, that hurts my heart so much to hear. Stay strong, safe & keep up the wonderful, inspiring videos. Thank you & be blessed.
Love how cute he is.. Couldn't help notice though when you was cutting the wire was getting caught and effected the soap abit.. Lovely still though👌🏻❤️
Ho ho ho Karen!! ; ) I love your Santa soap, he's too adorable. You rocked this out girlie...brava!! I always enjoy the longer video's and this was awesome to see him come together. Your childhood Christmas stories were wonderful. Y'all stay safe...Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xoxo : )
These Santa’s came out so pretty! I love that you molded the hat by hand instead of with a scraper. I think it makes the hat look more like fabric. These are just darling. 🎅
Oh, I'm in love with your Santa soap!! My favorite of all time, of all soapmakers' soaps, THIS one is my favorite! I hope I can get one before they are all gone. Brilliantly executed!
Oh my gosh! The effort you put into your soaps is just amazing! All the calculating and exact measures never would of occurred to me!! These are just beautiful 💞💞💞
St. Christopher was my husbands gift from his Nanna one year. He still has that lovely gift. He was going on a mission abroad and she wanted her traveler to be safe. I am so glad you got that watch, my parents often mislead us on our hints around Christmas too. I must say there was never a year I was disappointed. The best years were often the lean years. Thank you for the memories!
I don’t know if I would want to make those super fancy soaps where you have to scrape. Your patience is quite commendable. I like to get my soap into the mold as quickly as possible!
When i glanced these when they were made I genuinely thought they had been moulded and hand painted you are a fantastic artist . We didn't have much as Christmas but they sere magical, I know now one of my parents stood in the freezing snow ringing sleigh bells. One my sister and I were excited to find we had each a proper baby cot just like a real one with the side going down. But mum kept taking outer attention away from them I found out years later dad had stayed up all night making them and the paint wasn't quite dry . Lol. When my children were small we did the sleigh bells thing to keep them believing a little bit longer . How long would these need to be made before Christmas to be ready.. last Christmas wasn't that great the year before I had my stroke the we were both really ill with covid for about 3 weeks . This one my son, wife and grandchildren had jt. The world and our lives have changed so let's hope we learn from it, to appreciate those around us and be kind xxxx keep safe everyone x
They turned out great ...I never use a mold bigger than about 2kg when trying something like this first time so I reckon you did amazing .....I was worried about the eyes too but it worked out fine ...thanks so much for sharing .
Karen, these are fabulous!! They are so Santa. Did notice that when you were making the red part of hat, you didn't get as much to the backs of molds, so maybe if you turn both molds around while doing that, they would be more equal. I have to give you kudos, though, it was a lot of hard work you put into them and it paid off for you. These are magazine picture quality and so cute!!! Cheers and Blessings 💕💕💕
Love it... Have you thought about using an extruder for your soap dough to get the shapes rather than rolling, Donna sells the discs on I Dream of Soap..
31:50 you can always keep extra soap mixtures ready on hand to combine and add as needed. Plan ahead and if not used plan to go ahead and use for something else. Also, plan to use the scraped off soap for something xmassy. Just some ideas to avoid wastage.
I was going to make this a few weeks back for my Christmas soap but totally bottled it lol, glad to see you make them I think they look fantastic. Merry Christmas
Love the soap. You could always put the scraped soap into smaller moulds and sell them as samples, seeing as the already have fragrance oil in them. I've seen some other soap makers doing that.
I absolutely love this soap. I agree with you about the scrapping it does waste a lot of soap. I completely enjoyed this video. I finally got some more supplies from Brambleberry. I’m going to make a small batch tomorrow and see how it comes out
I bet you had a glass of wine and some mint chocolate after that marathon. 🍫🍷its just fantastic soap, I love it. So special. Thank you. Is the recipe below the video, the one you used here? It sets up fast for me, but you seem to be able to get your designs out without much trouble. 💓🎈😃 I remember the St Christopher medalion necklaces. 😂😘
That thumbnail 💯. One Christmas my mom got me pants that were the same print as Jimmy Green's. I've never forgiven my mother. I'm suddenly craving pretzels watching you roll the soap dough.
lol. I watch your videos and think “Here, take all my money”. Hubby has other ideas. 😁😁 These are so wonderful.

WOW WEE! You are soooo good at soap making, lady!! So impressed!! THANKS so much for sharing this
The eyes don't look that far apart; only noticed after you point it out. This is so cute.

Great video tutorial as well as entertaining. I’ve never seen this way of making a Santa Soap. Love that red! Have a blessed Holiday Season✨
They were brilliant, I'm so pleased they came out so well, especially as you were clearly getting a bit fed up halfway through. Part of me wanted you to do wonky odd eyes though as a bit of a drunken Santa :-)
Yes, I was stressed
This is the absolute CUTEST! Good thing - that was a lot of work! Lol. You're amazing at what you do. Thanks for sharing so willingly with all of us.
I totally lack your creative spirit and so could never make anything as fabulous as these. I kept saying, "Why is she doing that? Why is she putting that there, and What's that going to be on top?" haha I totally lack vision...and your phenomenal patience. These are absolutely adorable.

Amazing. Really jolly and xmassy🎅🏻
The eyes and nose are just so spot on! Great job!
Those are so adorable! I like how you were complaining during the process, then were so excited about how they turned out. Lol
Karen I am so proud of you; for your santa clause soap. Let me tell you girl, you nailed it. I know you were so tired, as you said; but it was all worth it in the end. GREAT JOB!!/😀.

Amazing! You did such a great job of planning. Love it.
Was that John in the back “scrapy, scrapy” he must have seen a Katie Carson video or two! 😆 love what you do! I’m rewatching all your videos!
They turned out great ...I never use a mold bigger than about 2kg when trying something like this first time so I reckon you did amazing .....I was worried about the eyes too but it worked out fine ...thanks so much for sharing .
That's what I should have done, used a small mold and only done 1, it would have been much easier.
He turned out nice, you did well!
That red is stunning!
Aww this is adorable I love it especially with the Santas hat
Karen, these are fabulous!! They are so Santa. You are very talented keep it up ❤
Moms are supposed to worry about their babes. lol Love this soap so much.
This soap is so freaking cute!!!
So adorable!!! You’re so talented!!!
Turned out super!
I think they’re adorable! And is anything handcrafted ever perfect? I think imperfections are what make artisan soaps perfectly beautiful!
Love it... Have you thought about using an extruder for your soap dough to get the shapes rather than rolling, Donna sells the discs on I Dream of Soap..
Yes Dianne I have thought about an extruder
Lisa, I believe her name is. And extrudes are ok, but I love HAND SCULPTED. I hand sculpt all of my designs for my soap. I love the process!
31:50 you can always keep extra soap mixtures ready on hand to combine and add as needed. Plan ahead and if not used plan to go ahead and use for something else. Also, plan to use the scraped off soap for something xmassy. Just some ideas to avoid wastage.
Your soap is Suppppeeeerrr Cute 🥰🥰 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... and what better memories ❤
A real christmas cutie!

This does look hard as you've said so, but be encouraged, this soap is amazing! If you don't mind I'm going to make this for next year here in USA.
Well done you did it again
That thumbnail 💯.
One Christmas my mom got me pants that were the same print as Jimmy Green's. I've never forgiven my mother.
I'm suddenly craving pretzels watching you roll the soap dough.
It's Okay To Be Clown Pilled Now I want to know what Jimmy Greens are...
EdensSecret1 Jimmy Green was a boy in my class I didn’t like.
