The explanations were great...and then when you showed the example footage of you executing the tips against an opponent that made it even more clear. Thank you for the help! 🎾🎾🎾

I don’t get how she produces so much power and depth so effortlessly. I guess that’s why she was a pro. One can only dream.

Nice things about pattern “rules” delivered to large groups of players is that everyone knows what you are going to do. Patterns are based on your own strengths and weaknesses and the strength and weaknesses of your opponent. When you work with someone on their poker, do you say “always bluff in this position”?

You are talking more about strategies. That’s different. Because if you’re rlly good at down the line doesn’t mean you’re going to hit everything down the line or hit down the line when you are in an uncomfortable position. These are patterns that all pros use because we want to play high percentage tennis, and reduce mistakes. :) even if they know you’re going cross but your shot is strong and deep they can’t attack you and that’s why you see so many cross court rally’s on TV. It’s rlly difficult to go down the line on a deep strong shot, gotta wait for the right one. :)

@ well said. Since chasing a ball out wide might well mean that you can’t get it back crosscourt, which I agree is the right play, you could end up giving your opponent a short ball in the middle. Since you are talking to amateurs with limited foot speed, the safer play is a 30’ lob to reset.

Between Gaby Paz and StokkeTennis, you don't need any other TH-cam tennis channels. They both teach common sense basics, strong fundamentals, and number one is, consistency wins tennis matches. Why did you lose? Because you missed too much.

Great tips. They seem so obvious when demonstrating like that, but in the "heat of the moment" I always catch myself repeating those mistakes lol. :)
