@@tuckerwelker6924 It really was! Best build yet!
Nice video! Super interesting time to be alive, especially for me, I learned to drive in 1973. Needless to say I never thought there might be a day that I would not need to know how to drive. Ever since the advancement from version 11 to 12, I've been excited about the possibility of achieving an actual self-driving car.
Thank you! Ya it’s honestly crazy how fast the technology is advancing, can’t wait to see where it will be in 5 years!
Wtf... this will change the world really soon. Let's all make sure to buy a Tesla and use FSD to the max!
@@danypell2517 It will be a crazy day when FSD becomes unsupervised!
nice commentary! and love the pace of the video, though i think you could aim the camera a little bit lower? that might improve the framing.
Thank you! Also definitely agree the framing is a bit off I got something coming in the mail to hopefully resolve this, thank you for the feedback!!
Demo drove one with 12.5.1.1 today. Holy crap. It is amazing.
Ya, I can’t believe the rate in which it’s improving!
Cool video! Though I gotta say that I was a little distracted by you looking pretty much exactly like Ted from How I met your Mother in the rear view mirror. :D
@@Arcana_Veritas_EN 😂😂😂… thank you?
❤
Very nice!!!
Can’t wait to see what the next build brings!
I think FSD has learned that the far left lane often turns out to be right turn only which used to get it in a bad position. If so that’s a big improvement in my book. And yeah, the goofy stop-go dance at a blinking red needs to be fixed! 😂❤
@@clintatk ah good point! Seems to be learning super cool!
Lmao, yea, a stop sign at a roundabout defeats the entire purpose of a roundabout.
Right! Why would anyone do that!
they don't seem to understand the point of roundabouts 🤣
@@martindbp for real😂
I’m in Australia, we don’t have FSDS as yet and I just have the included Autopilot. It appears the autopilot is no better than lane follow / adaptive cruise available on other car brands. I get phantom braking and it’s tries to steer into road barriers etc. Does your car still have these dangerous behaviours if you just use autopilot, or is it better?
@@JonNewell As of the latest build I’m really not seeing any of those types of problems. Since 12.5 it’s been a complete different ride! Really hope it comes to Australia soon so you can experience for yourself!
@@NicksApps Thanks Nick, still on V12 here so fingers crossed we get some updates soon. I’m very excited to try FSD. Looks amazing.
ugh I am on 12.3.6 need to get 12.5.1!!
12.5 will amaze you!!! Are you on HW3?
@@NicksApps Yeah HW3; it will interesting to see how 12.5.1 performs on it.
@@roger_is_red Definitely will be interesting, I’m assuming it won’t be to different. Hopefully it starts rolling out today!
How can I get the latest build? I also have model y 2024 but still has 12.3.6
🤔 Have you manually checked for an update recently?
Speed control is worse than 12.3. I have to press on the accelerator many times per drive on my work commute. On the positive side, it slows down appropriately for some tight curves that would cause FSD to run off the road or go well over the center lines.
Interesting I haven’t really had any issues with speed in 12.5.1.1 are you using auto?
@@NicksApps I also have to push the accelerator often. This is the same as 12.4 for me. Overall, 12.5.1.x is a big improvement in many areas.
@@kb-re5vr I also usually press the accelerator a few times per drive too, I was mainly referring to not needing to press for speed control. But ya agree huge improvements in latest build!
Yes, using auto speed. Driving on rural roads where people drive 52 in a 45 on average. FSD is wanting to drive 42-45 thus I’m getting tailgated unless I override the speed.
@@FriedChairs ah ya gotcha for me I don’t mind to much as long as we are going the speed limit, also never really like Auto tried it a few times never worked well for me, currently using % offset
Am I correct that it is not going to be available on hardware 3?
@@TodColbert It should be coming to HW3 any day now!
@@NicksApps There are many voices saying the opposite. I do hope you’re correct! Thank you.
Still 10-20 years until FSD is at level 5.
@@jimj2683 I hope not😂
