After playing the GBA version for years, the first time I've played the PSP version, got to one of the Earthgift Shrine bosses, and this music played, I got chills. They really did justice for the optional bosses. Sad we didn't get more new music for the Labyrinth dungeon, though.
The fact the best version of these isnt even from one of the ff3 ports...it will always be ridiculous to me. They went far harder in this version than any other
Easily one of the best battle themes ever. The beat is so catchy 😤 It's a shame they didn't use it in more battles (plus, if you've entered the dungeon in an already high level (as I did) you can barely enjoy the battles imo. It just felt sorta scrapped D: )
I remember being super pumped for boss battles with this theme when I played the psp version. It was extra fun. What a remix. Then when dissidia came out for the psp, I was excited that this theme, or something similar would be on there for the ff3 boss track. Well nope, they remixed it completely differently, and took out the climax from this version, and replaced it with very few piano notes. I eventually began appreciating it, but I was definitely disappointed when I realized they used a remix with much less energy in it for dissidia. This version here would have been perfect for dissidia.
For FF3 you're right, but the majority of people who watch my videos are FFXIV players, I was referring to WoD in FFXIV. I'll change it to clarify, cheers.
It's a slight shame that the Two-Headed Dragon was simply trash mob instead of an actual boss, and instead they go for Five-headed... instead of that name, I would have put Tiamat on that dragon, but oh well xD
@@shinon748 This comment I made was in reference to Mekkah Dee's video description, in which he mentions that all the bosses shown here or rather "3" out of the 4 can be found in the 24 man dungeon "World of Darkness" in Final Fantasy 14. Like he said, the Two headed dragon is instead changed to a 5 headed dragon in that version and I alluded to that they could've instead named the boss Tiamat. However Tiamat was later used for the expansion Heavensward as an important dragon entity in the world as one of Midgardormr's First Brood. Echidna also makes an appearance in 14 as the last boss of the 24 man dungeon Void Ark in the Heavensward expansion.
Maaaan, I was so sad when I upgraded my characters in the FF1 pixel remaster lmfao. Knight, Black Mage, and White Mage especially are such a downgrade compared to these.
It’s has bonus bosses from 3, 4, and 6 so it has corresponding music for each different cave. When you fight bosses from 3 it plays the boss music from FF3.
This music is so epic. I remember feeling euphoric when this played in my PSP. Made the boss battles so epic.

This version of this song SLAYS. 🎶 ❤️
Heck yeah it does!!
OG Final Fantasy PSP music is incredible!
Why on Earth does FF1 has better FF3 music than any version of FF3?

How tf can Nobuo Uematsu compose battle themes that you'll hear hundreds of times and never get bored with?

"This tragedy... greater even than the Seventh Umbral Calamity..."
This guy gets it.
v that's reference shadowbringer trailer.
Why does this track go so hard? Remember it on my dad's psp
goddamn the drums and bass on this track are phenomenal
One of my top FF boss themes of all time

They mentioned my Name in this video!

The original NES version still slaps harder.
Better than pixel remaster
Correction echidna can be found in the world of darkness

@@MekkahDee For FF14 Echidna is in Void Ark...

But tiamat is a boss in ff1 already
Tiamat is the boss for the wind dungeon though?

Because 5 head dragon was in Yugioh trademark. Cyber End Dragon was a metalic so they went for alive one.
Hutao bring me here xD ff fan aswell
WHO :D
This and nes battle theme sound wayyy better than the poor orchestrated version the ds got, heck even the chocobo racing version sounds better

So this is in FF1 but uses a better remix of the FF3 boss theme?
Ff1 with bosses from other ff games
This is from the psp remake of FF1. Additional dungeons and bosses, some from future titles, were added.

@@adamteller6685 Maybe you didn't find em, but there is also a shrine for some bosses from 5, two of which are almost as tough as Chronodia.
@@johnsargent7706 ...and though the remixes weren't added yet, those four bonus dungeons began in the GBA version.
I would take me less than a minute to defeat almost every dungeon boss with my perfect strat...
Better kill this boss fast or you die faster than Sonic running around the 1st zone!!!
