Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope all is well. Always a pleasure seeing you bro. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT
How do I include apps which have been saved to an external storage usb, the ones which do not reside on the firestick but are accessed from an external usb when required? I want to clone all of these to the new firestick or to the external storage usb for the new device. Thanks
@@DJsTutorials Thanks very much for your response. Can I not just add them to the file which I copy all of the Firestick apps to after having copied the Firstick apps to the usb? Thanks for any assistance with this, I am trying to make it as simple a process for myself as I can.
@@mortonvizner5263 Actually, you can copy the apps that are installed on the USB drive without the need to move them to Internal storage. They still show up under App Manager in Xplore File Manager. Once you select them, they will be copied to the folder you created.
Yes you can copy apps from a Fire Edition TV to a Fire Stick. The USB drive as long as it is set as external storage and not as internal shared storage, can be used on any USB port/device if that is what you are asking.
What if you already have a USB disk configured and have apps move to the USB drive ? My old one has a OTC cable and 64gb. New stick also had OTC cable and 64gb.
If I understand you correctly, you have it configured as Internal Shared Storage (Device Storage) and you moved some of the installed apps to the USB drive instead of the local storage. That will not work. You will need the USB drive to be set for External storage in order to copy the apps apk files and move them to the other Fire Stick.
@@DJsTutorialsI don't understand the difference between ext and int storage on the USB device. Will apps be copied to the external storage still be able to play existing installed data on the app like Kodi directly from moving it to the external storage? Can you run apps from external storage?
Will this also copy cash file of the application? I have app which is registered with LN and Password, which I no longer have. PS: is there a way to see that information?
Will this work if you have TH-cam TV also, meaning will it copy the app without having to log back in and also Ipvanish and Kodi with Real Debrid, Thanks
It sounds like it's not formatted as FAT32 file system if it does not recognize it as external storage. You need to format it as FAT32 using your PC and connect it again to the Fire Stick or format it as Internal storage and then from within the Fire Stick, format it again after as External storage.
Thanks!
Much appreciate it 🙏

You will need to move them back to the Fire Stick and then copy them to the USB drive with the rest of them.

Is there a way to also transfer accounts, passwords, and setups for apps like syncler?
No there is not unfortunately.
Can this be done from a fire tv to a firestick? Could the usbbe in another port?

No it will not. Cache files are only temporary files. It will not copy that information and no, you can not see that info.
Does not work for me ,when I plug the usb flash to the new fire stick 4k max its ask me to format the device again
You do not need to format the USB drive on the new Fire Stick, Just select External Storage and then go to Xplor File manager and install the apks.
So you still have to log in to all the apps on the new firestick?
Yes you do. It does not copy the data from the app, only the installation file.
Will this work if you have TH-cam TV also, meaning will it copy the app without having to log back in and also Ipvanish and Kodi with Real Debrid, Thanks
No, it doesn't copy the data from the apps (login info) only the apk.
@DJsTutorials Thank you

Hey PCD! Thanks man! Hope all is well with you!
My new Fire Stick does not recognize the USB drive and wants to reformat it

How can you copy the data from the apps?
You can't. Only the apk you can.
I am only getting copy to clipboard.
That will work also
Cant you justplug it into a pc n do it like that
You can if you have the apks already downloaded on your pc
will the log in and password work
No, that doesn't get copied. Only the app does not the data.
It worked!!!
Nice!
