New 2024 VW Tiguan Review | The Best Family SUV?

- Today on Buckle Up Jasper drives a big German mum tank, the new Volkswagen Tiguan. Can this new generation hold up the standards set by its predecessors? Will Jasper find the Tiger and Iguana Easter eggs hidden inside the car charming and funny? Only time will tell (or you can watch the video, you should do that tbh...)
Competing against the likes of the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, MG HS, BMW X3, Audi Q3, Skoda Kodiaq, Seat Ateca, Nissan Qashqai, Mercedes Benz GLC, Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Volvo XC60, Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, Renault Kadjar and the Lexus UX, why is it the Qashqai fares so well? In the competitive mid-sized crossover segment it's a race to the top in terms of tech, price and economy - so how does it do?

I just discovered your channel an it's a very very nice review!
Thanks for watching! We hope you’ll stick around!
Thanks again for for sharing
Our pleasure
Just ordered that exact car today. Had to settle for solid paint as metallic would have pushed it over the £40k threshold. Looked at the PHEV too which looks a great choice but is really expensive
Gotta be careful with that extra tax nowadays! Thanks for watching!
Testing driving one next week.
Let us know what you think!

Don't forget to share with all your friends
Just ordered one
Do you have a delivery date
Looks so nice
Jasper or the car?
@@BuckleUpShow The car ofc.
Just checking as we get some weird comments sometimes 🤣 Yes, we really like the Tiguan's styling!
We have had one for the last two years
Lease, fiance or own outright?
I’m not keen on the drive train, and those light bars. A manual TDi would have been more efficient
You can get a 2.0 diesel, but VW no longer make manual cars, so DSG is the only option.
@@BuckleUpShow I know, shame really, anything to raise costs eh…🙄🙄
It’s more to do with fleet emissions
@@BuckleUpShow I know, it’s a bs excuse tho, because if that was the case why promote petrol cars that emit more co2??
Because autos emit less CO2 than manuals
You left out the different models. But all car manufactures have similarities in their different models. Doesn't a 3 Series, look like a 5 Series? You can always tell a Volvo or a Cadillac from a mile away regardless of model.
Suzuki doesn't
Hate the new design language! Looks too bubbly and playful… bring back rugged SUVs, VW!
At what point exactly has the Tiguan ever looked rugged?
@@BuckleUpShow the outgoing model was much closer than this monstrosity
Its from the first generation Tiquan.
Over priced, waiting for BYD SEAL U. Its much better looking and cheaper.
The Seal U certainly looks quite good at the back, but I prefer the front of the Tiguan as I don't think the styling on the Seal U looks quite as clean. Without knowing the price it is hard to say how well it would compare. BYD are generally very good at offering value for money, though!
If youre thinking of buying a BYD, you haven't done your research.
For what reasons?
@@BuckleUpShow BYD cars have the minor problem of spontaneous combustion. There a plenty of videos on youtube showing this. The China Observer have detailed videos showing them.
I mean, the statistics in no way back you up there, also byd batteries or technology are fitted in many makes of car as well as a huge number of consumer electronics. If they had a combustion issue it would be a much bigger story than a few TH-cam videos.
