    Episode 08 - Starter | Air filter Housing | Gearbox Install & More
    This new series will be focusing on the maintenance and repair of Airheads. Quite a lot of this mechanical work would apply to 1981 and on airheads. This tutorial is using the former 1985 R80 RT that William converted to a 1985 R80 S variant in our last video series.
    In this eight episode William, walks you through how to install the gearbox and clutch release mechanism, install the fuel lines, starter cover and air filter housing. Follow along with William as he walks you through each step of the mechanical maintenance and repairs to keep these amazing bikes on the road.     Preparing for my own R80/7 from 1977 build, I am watching all your video's ! You make for sure the best and most detailed video guides, to help me along. Even considering going beyond my comfort zone and looking at gearbox refurbishment.... (scary :))

    Hi William, another fantastic instructional video as usual. Loved your idea on recycled engine covers.On my 1979 R80 i just vapour blasted the top cover, resprayed the black part and faced off the lettering. Such an improvement to the looks of the engine. Keep up the good work. David (U.K.).
