The Vol Stern Dich names are actually derived from angel names in Theology, like Candice's "Barbarreil" is a reference to an angel called "Barbiel", whose name means "Thunderstorm/Lightning" or in some scriptures "Thunder of God". I'm not sure which scriptures Kubo specifically used for the other names but I'm sure they're also angel/bible-related but anyways, here's what the names mean: Pornipora - Power of God (Meninas-pink hair) Azhalbiora - Death of God (Giselle-dark blue hair) Gagael - Hunger of God (Liltotto-yellow hair) Tatar Foras - Fear of God (As Nodt) Biskiel - Justice of God (Quilge)

This episode along with rukias bankai were the best ones they really went all out and hearing number one gave me chills I knew y'all would dig this one!!
The magical girl stuff was anime exclusive. One of the best additions so far tbh. I think its more closer to other magical girl series than sailor moon but idk many of them and sailor moon is the blueprint. The whole fight had a lot of additions actually it was more barebones in the manga. But kubo loves the quincy girls. They like a k-pop band i think he even took inspiration so he gave them a little extra in the anime. But one weird change which makes no sense is that in the manga it gave us the girls' schrifts in that introduction section. No idea why the anime didn't. The schrifts are: Z - zombie, G - glutton, P - power and T - thunderbolt. Orihime's outfit is the same as the manga they aren't censoring outfits anymore but they are censoring some of the more spicy fanservice moments. But also just as in the past they made her boobs even bigger and focused more on them. So its giving mixed signals. Kubo got no idea how boobs work (even tho he married) but the anime staff know how boobs work even less. And yup chad looks so great das a man. The lack of poem is cause the week after this episode they did a recap episode and the poem is at the end of that episode. This is completely irrelevant to this but with the one piece live action coming out and stuff reacting to one piece is a good move if you want to grow your channel and haven't watched it already. I'm not the biggest one piece fan it got a lot of stuff i'm iffy with but it is the best selling manga of all time so its a smart business move. And i'm certain theres tons of stuff you will like about it.
