I am just thrilled to see your devotion to the restauration to Le chateau de Dampierre, I am a bit of a Francophile having worked with Air France beginning in 1962 recalling the 4th Boeing 707 in the Air France Fleet was named Le Chateau de Dampierre that I had the privilege to fly on to my first trip to Paris; 8 degrees of separation for sure!. Your Brass bed looks antique,I bought an antique bed over 4 decades ago it was ornate with Green porcelain pieces .It came with a house full of antique furniture bought from an old farmer for $40. That symbol is controversial actually, some say the correct symbol for medicine is the Rod of Asclepius, which has only one snake and no wings, as the caduceus is the traditional symbol of Hermes which has no relation to medicine where as the Greek god Asclepius is a deity associated with healing and medicine. still, a nice idea and beautiful work regardless.
