I've just returned from a holiday in the Portstewart area and it was much busier than your video. That big golden beach was fabulous. Everyone was having such a great time as the weather was glorious that day. It was better than being on a Spanish beach 😄🏖️

Sounds great!, yeah it can get extremely busy in peak season that's for sure lol. Glad you had a fantastic time and the sun actually came out lol.

Lovely little town, with some great restaurants and people. I have holidayed there in recent years.

Some minor corrections: Portstewart is in County Londonderry/ Derry, not County Antrim. The Railway did not come to Portstewart but, in fact, bypassed it at the behest of the local landlord, who desired it to be a more exclusive holiday location for genteel people. So, the train station was built a mile outside the town opposite the gates of his mansion, Cromore House. Those wishing to travel to Portstewart had to pay extra for private taxi hire or by steam tram, which travelled from the station to the promenade next to the Montague Arms Hotel. Thus, most train passengers would be encouraged to go directly to Portrush.

Ah! Yes wrong country listed a mere oversight, I was aware of Cromore Station and the tram into town but summarising one over looks the finer details. Thank you for the updated information regarding the railway, very informative. 👍
