I love it when people who basically ignored the evil they heard and saw as a religious anomaly are referred to as 'gullible' instead of 'dangerous religious zealots. ' Make no mistake: the type of religion these people follow encourages and allows crazies like Chad Daybell and Lorrie Vallow to flourish. When people ignore obvious signs of mental illness and those signs culminate in the deaths of children for supposed religious reasons, or because the claims made by rhe crazies falls within the interpretive scope of one's religion, then there is a problem with said interpretation. It obviously creates fertile ground for these acts.

Also the many blessing that came when I did the right things in the wake of the attack. I also pray for all involved to be forgiven and helped to find the right way. And I pray for the offender. That he comes to his senses. Only with God and his Active force can what is broken be made useful despite our weakness and imperfections. I am using my life to serve others now in a third world country and helping them find bible truths. It's very rewarding.

While I feel there are far too many Christian self-help books that distract some people from reading directly from their Bible, "Foolproofing" is a great one (at least for myself, it was). I didn't realize how much the word of God speaks about the "fool" (narcissist).

Blaming grandma when she was the one worried sick! The grandparents would have gladly taken “zombie” JJ and even Tylee (who isn’t biologically their granddaughter) into their home! They trusted Lori and Charles to give him a better life than they could originally but the moment that changed, they would have loved to have him back in their home ALIVE. There were other options aside from taking their lives! There always is. Tylee was even old enough to live on her own or go off to college! It’s sickening and maddening. Lori didn’t want the grandparents and Kay (Charles sister) to “win” and be able to love and raise JJ. It’s selfish. She is a psychopath narcissist, in my opinion.
