After doing I'm Here, the requests for this one came pouring in like a sea of rings after sonic gets kicked in the balls. I was nervous going in since I had to find not only a singer that could do the range, but also another one who could do the screams. Cristina was an obvious choice for me after hearing the song for the first time and she absolutely slayed it, but for the screams I figured it had to be me so as not to bring on a ton of people for this one.
I spent a really long time in production of this cover training my voice for screaming in this style and to say it came naturally to me actually can't be further from the truth. There were countless hours of me in my car driving around sounding like something between a cat shrieking and Marge Simpson trying to get my voice just even a little bit close to what the singer of Sleeping With Sirens delivered on the original. It's always a style I've wanted to get under my belt so I gave it my all. After hours of recording what was probably 50-100 takes of me screaming my head off, I finally got something close. It's something I plan on spending more time with in the coming projects.
Other than that, we've been working on this cover since November and I'm so happy to finally release it. I really wanted to do my best with it, so I hope you enjoy how it sounde!

I'm addicted to this song from Frontiers and I've never even played the game.

I've been on a bit of a Tales kick lately, and the main character of one of my favorite games in the series is voiced by Christina Vee, so I came in to this with the fact in my mind that Velvet was singing this
It fits at a scene about two-thirds into the game where Velvet snaps like a twig.
Also when you fight the dragon on Titania.
No joke, Cristina is one of the main reasons why Velvet is my favourite character ever
Complete S rank cover of a kick ass intense battle theme! Those screams were on point and you and vee slayed this song like it was nothing. It was nothing short of being good, great, awesome, outstanding, amazing ear candy in every sense of the word!

@Internet Guy there are positives and negatives to both which at the end of the day doesn't matter much because it only really matters what one thinks of the song at the end of the day. It is just a matter of preference and difference of opinion.
Eh. This isn't Jule's or Christina's best work. The volume mix was way too heavy on the instrumentals side - Christina was really quiet in places where she just shouldn't have been IMO. That and some of the "E" sounds she made at the end of words at times were REALLY hard and it sounded strange. It's not bad, but both of them have done better covers. Solid B rank.

Yeah so this track absolutely blindsided me when I hit that battle. And the actual battle itself was the best Super Sonic battle I've ever had - this epic cover throws me straight back into that hands-shaking, rainbows-leaking-out-ears feeling of pure awesome.
Sonic tracks are usually absolute bangers, but good LORD this game absolutely nailed my two favourite genres...and you two absolutely nailed this cover!
Honestly wasn't expecting this song, but I got hype not only seeing the title, but seeing that Christina was on vocals too. Amazing cover. You both did amazing.

The first character that comes to mind when I hear Cristina's name is Homura Akemi, which... gives the line "Been down this road before, already know this story" a much sadder meaning.
